Some of the people you can get have spells that raise/lower faith/bravery by 20/30/50 or so, Every time you do it in battle, it will change it by that amount, then when the battle is over there will be a slight change (If you lower by 50, it might be 5-10 lower normally)

I'm not positive, I don't remember having anyone do that besides that one time I raised someone's brave to 100.. so I think you're safe as long as its not 100 (100 OUT of battle, it can be 100 in battle, but thats just in-battle stats that go away. out of battle stats are what you keep)

I'm not sure if you lose experience, I don't think you do, but its possible that it resets your experience to 0. (your experience for the next level, you won't lose levels) Although I'm 99% sure you don't, thats a possibility.
One thing I DID find out though, was that even if your character isn't a class, but that class is part of your team, he will get some JP for that class. I noticed this when ome special characters that I never changed from their special class (Agrias = Holy Night, Orlandu = Holy Swordsman) were getting JP for chemist, samurai, ninja (my main party) just for being around them. Which could be helpful because they can learn techniques that they normally wouldn't have learned.

Awesome! I noticed I was still gaining job points in certain classes and not in others. I couldn't figure out why. What you just said makes perfect sense now. I'll have to do a little revamping with the party tonight. I'd rate this game 9 out of 10 overall. Thanks so much for the info Joe!

Yeah, with people like Orlandu, they are 10X worse in any other class than their main one. So when I need him to learn an ability, I just turn the rest of my party into that class and make them fight a lot with him, he gets the JP in no time without having to change class and become weaker.

I totally agree. I'm lucky 90% of my on-line time is at work. With the exception of depositing my experience (and maybe a point or two) I can break away from Newgrounds on my 2 days off and hang with friends, take off on my bike, veg out on video games (evil) or whatever.
