Anyway, your missed deposit now means you're 500 points exactly ahead of me (3000 and 3500). Seeing that in your profile also showed me that I have 1082 points (and that's just right now, it'll probably be 1300-1400 points by the time I get to it) until I get past the damned pipe and get to level 15.

If you are at home, doing stuff at your comp anyway, or paperwork, you can take a small brake every 5 min and get a few points (hopefully). And these guys who has over 100 average for a longer time period, is mostly robots, or kids with too much spare time.

Typically, I'm on my computer 10 hours/day or more, so my missed points have more to do with my being too involved in whatever I'm doing to remember to refresh the portal page than anything else. Most of the people getting high end BPs are in similar situations. For whatever reason, they are on the computer most of the day anyway and NG is merely an adjunct to their multi-task. It's a nice break from dealing with the stress.

Still just cruising along here, passed 1,111 b/p points a short while ago (yes I know it's nothing major, it just looked nice, especially seeing how I nearly had 111 BBS posts at the same time, and I'm level 11 - too many 1's). And I think I've found the first real person that pisses me off on NG - that little retard canibus_clock is getting the whistle blown on him should he try the "submit an OK movie, replace it with a one frame piece of crap after it passes judgement" stunt again. I wouldn't mind, but the original movie he uses to get through judgement is pretty good.

Rant over, back to blamming.

Yar. Thanks! Not really THAT many more to come. I just hit b/p rank level #19. there's only 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 26 left to get, after all. And they will soon become SUPER-few and far between, after Recon and I hit Lt. Colonel.

Plus, the lack of challenges to overcome (people to pass that aren't fixit, TheJoe, or Crono, IOW) reduces the incentive to move quickly.

Be forewarned, getting the autorefresher isn't going to MAKE you remember to vote on the movies. It is nice to not have to refresh the portal yourself, but... actually, what I do now is I go to an entry, vote, go back to the entry's page, add 1 to the entry's id, if there's already a movie there, then vote, repeat...

until coming to an "error, there's no movie at this id" page. I have RefreshIE set to refresh my profile and "Error," and thus it will refresh the error entry ID until a movie is uploaded, and then that movie will pop into the window instead, and it's fairly obvious it has (new background shows up instead of just plain black background, title on taskbar changes, etc. etc.).

it affects windows 2000, NT 4, XP, new Windows operating systems IOW.

I use Win98, so I'm blissfully immune.
