Well, they are, but is there a better PHYSICAL format that people are using? Nope. Only mp3s, which are.... electronic.

He's just been fiddling with it yesterday, so... I think he will be.
Why is your AIM "NGMODgfoxcook"? Did you used to be a mod?Yep, he used to be a review mod and a BBS mod, but not anymore.
NOT ANYMORE... not since... "the incident."
Why not? :(
I dunno. I came in at the end of it, and I didn't feel like censoring my cursing, so I just didn't curse instead, IN PROTEST. Take that!
I'll count from 5000 for EXP.
So top 5000 in exp but top 2000 in b/p, eh? Hm, okay. It'd be a lot simpler if you just had the same cutoff for both, though. Easier to keep track of. Personally, I'd put it at top 10,000 for both.
Do you want to hear it?If I shared my opinions on Grunge, I'd be lynched. :POH NOE.
Is it anything like Jack Black's opinions on Grunge?
("New-wave tried to destroy the metal, but the metal had its way
Grunge then tried to dethrone the metal, but metal was in the way
Punk-rock tried to destroy the metal, but metal was much too strong
Techno tried to defile the metal, but techno was proven wrong")
Nothing wrong with that. Secondary dragon colours of course are probably red, then blue, then other.I'll stick to light.
I wasn't trying to get you to change to evil next after you'd been neutral, yanno. Was just saying, in terms of non-NG dragons.
I don't have Yahoo IM.
Nor do I. We've both tested negative for YIM, then. Hooray!

Maybe so. Why did you hide your achievement?
Wow. I never knew. You learn so much old NG stuff from this place. Your level icon would look so awesome with gold aura, then there would be no arguements about neutralness. Why is your AIM "NGMODgfoxcook"? Did you used to be a mod?I was the 10th BBS mod on NG, dude, and one of the first review mods, too.
Bleh. Hell no. The absolute greatest thing about my demoddings happening in late 2006 and early 2007 = I got to stay green on 7/17/2007 when the redesign dropped.
If I'd been forced to gold from my lovely lovely green, I woulda cried. ;_;
Now granted, there are some levels that the gold looks absolutely great with (any black/dark gray weapons, such as level 43, 45, etc.)... but I still wouldn't change my icon's aura, even if I could.
I meant it to sort of mean "coincedence" so I though " coinceidic" but I spelt it badly.Me and freinds love to play with the radio, we say what the person is talking about and it ends up to be really funny and such conciedic. (I think that's a word).Comedic? WTF?
LOL! That was my second guess, but you'd spelled it so... off... that it looked more like comedic.
Coincidental is the word you're looking for.
I went up to 36k blams perfectly, never went over that amount, and still haven't, over 2 years later, yep. Why is that so surprising? I don't whistle anything anymore, haven't since 2005.Don'tcha mean vote not whistle?
No, because I stopped blamming in October of 2005, that was easy to stop and make sure I hit 36,000 exactly.
But I had to stop whistling movies long before then, because my fear (and rightly so) was that 2 months after a movie got whistled, I'd end up with a blam point I didn't want when the movie got deleted.
Remember, a whistled movie you get whistle credit for also gives you a blam.

Flaming burgers with your Mega Flare? You're getting as we unemployed say.... "a job"?Yes.
I don't think he'd need a business suit for that.
But anywho....
Obama gave a speech here in Houston, Texas tonight. 18,000 people or so packed the Toyota Center (where the Rockets play basketball) to hear him speak. I wish I coulda been there, but people were lining up like all day, or at least all afternoon, to get into the speech this evening. I had to be at work till 6PM, so no chance for me.
When I went downtown to pick up my girlfriend from her job at the police HQ, there was a lot of police cars and escorts driving around the streets, and she thought it was for Obama, but it was on the wrong side of the downtown, and I later found out on the local news that they were there for Clinton's security. Bill Clinton's, that is. He was doing fundraising for about $300,000 in donations at a hotel on the westside of downtown while Barack Obama was speaking on the eastside.
HOUSTON IS TEH PRESIDENTIAL FOCUS YESTERDAY (McCain came to town, got Bush's dad's endorsement), TODAY (Obama + Bill Clinton), AND TOMORROW (Bill, Hillary, AND Chelsea Clinton are all gonna be in town tomorrow).
I can't wait for the CNN debate on Thursday night from Austin.
But just being a few miles away from Obama tonight was a thrilling experience. My girlfriend and I will be early voting on Saturday 2/23 (early voting in Texas is from 2/19 to 2/29, the actual election day is Tuesday 3/04). This is not only the first time I'll be voting in a primary, because the past few elections I had signed a petition for Ralph Nader to be on the ballot in Texas under the Green Party, instead of voting in a primary.... but this is the first time since I turned 18 in 1995... that I will be voting for a Democrat/Republican in November. In 1996, 2000, and 2004 I voted independent/third party. It takes a lot for me to come out for a mainstream party candidate. Obama vs. Clinton is certainly enough (more than enough) for me to do so.
ROCK THE VOTE!

I might as well tell you, seeing as I just PMed NintendoMadness.
BIGmamaKATIE was responsible for the BigBahamut alt, and, as it transpires, is also responsible for another alt - namely HypaShadow, with which she roams the BBS pretending to be retarded, and most of the time in the same threads that she posts (reasonably maturely) in with her main.
Wade recently deleted all of her alts except for HypaShadow, and let her keep her main. That's probably just because Wade is nice, but as we all know, impersonating NG regulars is AGAINST TEH RULES! And the profile of BigBahamut clearly stipulated that 'This is Bahamut's alt'. Tut tut.

GRANNY'S TUNA CASSEROLE
1 cup white long grain rice
1 medium onion
1 can Cloverleaf white flaked tuna
2 cans Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup
A little milk for thinning the soup
1 bag Old Dutch Regular Potato Chips
**Preheat oven to 350 degrees**
Chop onion and sauté in a little butter. Cook rice according to package directions. Mix the onion, tuna and rice together. Put half the rice mixture into a 2 quart casserole dish. Spread 1 can of the soup (thinned with a little milk) over the rice mixture. Coarsely crumble half of the potato chips over the soup. Spread the rest of the rice mixture into the casserole dish, add second can of soup, and finish with the chips on top. Bake for approximately 45 minutes until heated through.
Note: Original recipe calls for 1 can of the soup but I like it made with 2 cans. Also, in order to prevent the chips on top from browning too much, put the casserole in the oven for 20-25 minutes without the chips then add them and bake for the final 20-25 minutes.
I could eat this stuff forever and not get tired of it. It's been my favorite meal since I was around 8 years old. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. :)

Tut tut.
I see. Thanks for the details, I have no real comment on the events, though (gasp, I know... gfox... speechless!).
I switched from Engineering to English myself.Did you enjoy English? I have a few friends who are taking it at the moment, and one of them said that I might not enjoy it.
I was going through some rough stuff in my personal life around the time I burned out on Engineering and started my English degree instead, and I ended up dropping some classes not because they were hard but just because I'd stopped going to them due to that crap, and thus I didn't really enjoy my final college years as much as I should have, nor did I get enough out of them.
But in terms of a major, there's nothing wrong with English lit. If you had good English teachers in high school, you know more or less what to expect. Lots of in-depth and critical reading, discussions in class about multiple interpretations of literature. I love using different schools of thought in terms of literary criticism. A Marxist reading of a text or a portion of a text, for instance... versus a psychological reading or a historical reading or a feminist reading... etc. etc.
I've never really wanted to be a lawyer, but I've always thought that law would be an interesting and challenging subject to take a degree in, and pretty useful, too.
Just ask Barack Obama.

HEY. CDs aren't old....To some people, they are.
ONLY TO YOUNGIN'S
Well, they are, but is there a better PHYSICAL format that people are using? Nope. Only mp3s, which are.... electronic. And MP3s aren't always good.
Well, they're compressed and they aren't technically as high quality unless they're basically an uncompressed .wav file instead of a true mp3. And yes, mp3s don't have to be 128kbps, but that's the standard.
Nope, it was Censorship Day and you cannot rebel against it, unless it was something to do with teh government.
Of course it was.

You're saying there's more clever British NG users proportional to idiot British NG users.... than clever American NG users proportional to idiot American NG users?
Fair enough, but keep in mind that sometimes the idiots... it's not clear where they're from too often. So many times they lie in their profile, or don't specify, and they may not even have that many posts on the BBS, so how can you assume they're American and not British (or something else entirely?).

Oh, story time: I was in Poland once and there was a big flea market. They sold all kind of stuff there. Some of it was so obviously faked, that it nearly hurt the eyes. For example one guy sold jeans from "Lives" (instead of "Levis"). And one guy had the "Titanic" movie on DVD, although at that time it wasn't even officialy released.
