Let's say that you are voting 24 hours 7 days. Everyday around 200 movies are being submitted. The requirement for Elite Guard Private is 1500. So, all you need to do is vote for 7.5 days to join the Elite squad! 7.5 days are nothing, to tell you.
Well, obviously, unless you are like some people with no life, you won't be voting on every single movies. Just try to vote on 50 movies every day. In that case, you need approximately one month (30 days) to reach the Elite squad.

Both are good to have XkwiziTOnE, and you should try for both. I believe experience impacts your voting power much more than your blam/protect points (and is harder to gain). When you start to get REAL high in levels you'll find it tougher & tougher to increase. Just get your 10 experience and some blam/protect points each day and you'll do fine.

It's up to you to decide whether it is worth it. Remember that as your rank gets higher and higher the amount of points required for next rank is higher and higher, but the increase in percentage is the same. For example, you get 2% increase by advancing from Citizen to Safety Patrol but you only need 100 points to advance. However, for my case, I needed 1000 points to advance from Elite Guard Sergeant First Class to Elite Guard Master Sergeant, but there were only 2% increase in my voting power (from 24% to 26%). So I'm sure that once you will find that it's useless to get higher ranks because it takes so much time to get to higher rank. And that is the time you decide that you want to stop.

Spancker, are you using the full version of Kazaa or are you using Kazaa lite? I've heard a lot of bad press about Kazaa ans all the spyware you download when you get Kazaa. Kazaa lite is Kazza without all the crap.

It's quite easy actaully. On the transfer screen, there are 3 rows of buttons at the top. On the third row down, there is a button that says 'Open incoming files folder'. Click that and it has the songs you downloaded.
