That reminds me of this Ghostbuster II game I played a while back. Only the game didn't work properly from the start. It also used to crash my computer from time to time.

I think you misunderstood me. The disk wasn't scratched, it was just plain empty. Just as if someone had formated the disk. And the weirdest thing is, that just that one disk was empty. All other disks were fine...
and I know for sure that no one actually had formated the disk.
