Well they have one of the worlds best drummer, which appeals to me. But yeah they're an amazing band. I've only really listened to theire earlier stuff but it's all good. Check out a few songs on youtube. They're not really that "heavy" but they're still amazing.

I don't really care if it's not heavy. As long as it still sounds great, then I won't complain. The only thing I'm concerned about Tool is their alternative rock elements and I only like a little amount of alternative.

Ok, the new one is way more violent, the plot is relevant to modern terrorism threats and the bad guy death isn't as spectacular as in the original, but you'll be wincing, as it looks quite painful.
