I was hinting at your reaction being uptight (to me making that joke... remember, it was a joke?).
But then, this was a joke, too. Damnit.... #;-}>
I just love to yank yer chain when I come back after a long hiatus. I thought that would be obvious by now!
But anyway, I posted on Thursday last week, then Monday this week, then Friday this week, so I've got a twice a week schedule going on now...
Meaning no long hiatus anymore. Whew. #;-}>
WE'RE BOTH SAFE.
If you live your life wasting your entire spare time on irrelevant and pointless things, you'll never enjoy yourself, either.
You gotta find the balance, true.
But believe it or not, some OCD folks like myself find spending free time on pointless things quite... enjoyable. So just cause you wouldn't enjoy yourself doing that doesn't mean no one would, yanno. #;-}>
I'm not saying that depositing on NG is either (although I can only speak for myself), but generally speaking, it's true. And contrary to what you appear to be saying, it does make sense to reflect on your life every now and then and ask yourself whether what you're doing is actually fun or whether it's just a chore that's eating up your time and *keeping you* from having fun.
Well of course. I did stop doing my list updates once the "chore"ness started outweighing the "fun"ness, didn't I?
But as I was just saying, if it weren't for my OCD, I probably would have reached that point 12-18 months sooner than I did.
I'm either insane, way too patient with my own silliness, or just very very very resistant to repetitiveness and boredom compared to most folks (for instance, if I'm really in the mood to listen to a song, I can put it on repeat and listen to it for 2 straight hours without getting tired of it, if it's a song I love... which is the only reason I'd be doing that, of course). And I do credit my OCD with that.
I used to do things like lock my car 6 times with the little remote thing. It started out because my old car had been an oldfashioned lock-and-key car I'd just hit the lock thing on the inside of the door and then close the door, and if I wanted to make sure I'd remembered to lock it, I'd just try the handle.
But when I got my new car in 2001, I had to use the little remote thingie now... and I'd be paranoid that it wasn't locked, even though the lights flashed at me (I'd turned off the horn... a year or two ago I turned the horn back on because I found the horn = only needing to lock it once or twice at most to feel secure).
Anyway, I could write an essay about how OCD has ebbed and flowed through my life, in some ways making it more pleasurable to me, in some ways less... but most of all wasting time, which I don't like too much when thinking about it objectively, but...
All the little things do add up.
To me, depositing on NG is nowhere near as time-wastery as little OCD rituals I waste my time on, and used to do even more of back when my OCD was worse and less controllable.
It's limited to once per day (per account), at least. The time-wastery has a cap on it. #;-}>
Maybe then I'd move up to 60,606. And then someday to 66,666. And maybe maybe maybe... someday 36k + 36k = 72k.Mmm. What's so special about 36?
It's my fave number. Has been since I was a wee child. I don't remember what made it that way...
It may be from when I was learning my squares. 5x5 is 25... that's a pretty cool number, yes... ooo, 6x6 is 36... those are all very excellent numbers!
I've just always loved the way 6 looks, sounds, "feels," etc.
I don't "taste" or "smell" numbers like some folks can (synaesthesia... often in autistic/super intelligent folk), but I do feel emotional responses to them. Some numbers have an innate appeal to me (36, 48, 123, 4321, etc.), others make me go bleh (17, 37, 47, 57 are the worst of the 7-related numbers... somehow 7, 27, 67, 77, 87, and 97 aren't as bad)... etc. etc. etc.
I see a bottle of Heinz 57 ketchup and if I'm not hungry for fries, the first thing I think of is how ugly a number 57 is.
etc.
I could write another essay after the one on my OCD about my numbers-love/hate relationship.

True. It just means there's no regular ol' commander above it, since it's the supreme one and all.
How about "Newgrounds Ninja" (or just "Ninja"), for example? And "Newgrounds Master Ninja" (or just "Master Ninja")? :) It may not actually fit NG's overall theme very well, but it'd work even if you take things like the EG serious - you'd leave the EG and become part of a different group, so to speak.
Wheeee!
You could even make the "Master Ninja" rank dynamic so that only the #1 B/P user would get it, similar to how level 30 works, although that may or may not be a good idea.

When they look at the FAQ, they see 60,000 points as a horrendously daunting target to reach - Hell, there aren't many accounts to reach that, are there?
Amen. LEAVE IT ALONE.
Besides, no ranks doesn't mean no RANKINGS.
People who go beyond 30,000 do it for one of three reasons (or a combo):
A) Because it's there.
B) To pass other folks and increase their ranking/e-penis
C) To hit really cool numbers like 36k and 24k like I did.
etc.
Maybe they'll also correct the unbalanced VP shift from EG Lieutenant General to EG General. The biggest VP rise should logically be for General to Supreme Commander. Anyone else noticed that?
Um... yeah. It's been 7%/5% for the entirity of the system, man. It's just cause 48%, 55%, and 60% were the numbers that "fit" best as the bonuses, apparently.
Speaking as someone who likes nice and even numbers over odd numbers, and if it's gotta be odd, it better be a -5 ending number, I can totally understand and agree with that. Those three precentages are quite lovely, even though it makes the first jump bigger than the second jump, which is somewhat anticlimactic.

Thanks Sir I wish and hope for 37k Saves and finally retire but it looks like 26k is where I will stop.

Oh so you think its cliche. Yeah your so fly dont conform. I listened to CC- various stand up with list makeingNah, I conformed anyway. But it is cliche, man.
I would make them but I dislike metal and related music.
I don't care whether the new stuff sucks or not, I just know the 80s were the best decade for teh musics. There's tons of good stuff from the 60s/70s and 90s, but the 80s make them all bow down and lick bootheel.80s music stuff and allWell maybe you like the 80s because of the nostiglic old skool kind of mentality people get because the new stuff sucks.
Well okay I havent played Vice City or VCS in quite some time to listen to 80s music but if it what you think, more power to you.
Yar.I have all 30 empire sites. Took me a few good hours of milling around and shit to realise that I couldn't get that one damned biker empire site in Vice Point on the east side near those hotels until I freakin' ADVANCED THE PLOT a bit more into the Mendez Bros. missions.I got them all as so as I could. I cant remeber how well I did and other info.
The bikers pissed me off I minigunned the fuck out of them.
Got to have a variety. I like the smuggling irc becuase of the Sabre Tubro.Yeah, that's a sweet car. Not an Infernus or Cheetah or anything, mindya, but the programmers decided not to give us any businesses with one of those out front.
The Infernus has been a kick ass car for VC, SA, and VCS. Cheetah ever since III its been the same likeness to it. Turmiso and Hotknife for SA makes me cum each time I roll with them. The programmers did good it wouldnt relate to any business. thats maybe why
I think they knew we'd all build 30 of that business. #;-}>
Yes maybe not me I love the Sabre turbo and bulletproof I can't calm down from the exicite meant. On VC when you stole Hilarys Everything-proof (expected for gradual damage) was the fuck-king-shiznit.
BTW, I do have VCPD Cheetahs in all three of my garages. It's the only way to ride in style for teh vigilante music (till I get me teh attack chopper, of course).
Oh yes I prefer the FBI Washington though. The Cops from the cheetahs mirror Miami Vice police. The Vilaginte mission on the Ahpache(Hunter) is very fun and too simple to get level 12. I became a billion from it on VC, for VCS I didnt try for it.
I got to play VCS for PSP all this talk is making me exicted in a nonperverted way. I know I got lots of unique jumps, rampages, and red ballons to find but I am concerned with 100%.Heh. I have 30 of the rampages but only 17 unique jumps. I know of like 5 more locations, but I can't pull off some of the jumps, they're damned hard... even in a PCJ.
I concurr some uniques are too hard.
I have all the balloons, but I must confess I cheated. I got to 70 on my own and then used a FAQ map to find the last 29.
I should try getting the rest of the ballons for my weapon stash. I got all the tags sprayed in SA so my home boys carry SMG (MP5 on Vices) and Desert Eagle. Next I will try for Horseshoes.
Nah, I was asking it to you. But that's okay. Why not gfawks instead? Just a BIT simpler (and more used, not to mention)...yes you just asked the question to yourself.
If I answered I would say this: It sounds stupid and makes you seem like a funnor dude, a little yes predictiable and little more mysterious.
Oh shit NOE!YEAH! You better respond to my PM first before you even think about responding to Recon's or else I'M GONNA DIVORCE YOU.Well uh too late I will just counter-sue you if you try to divorce me.

I know someone that loves The Simpsons, but hates Futurama. And I'd like the LUL to be renamed to "Futurama > The Simpsons". Yes, I'm really crazy now! HAHAHAHAHA!
Hahahahahahaha. Awesome.
The Nudar character will be interesting to see what happens with it. Also, my favourite minor character isn't Hypnotoad (but the second favourite minor character). The first goes to Roberto, because his stabbing obsession makes me lol.
