Actually yes I do. But this time it wasn't me who started the complaining this time. If you were reading all the way through someone was bitching about the system being to easy at first and then someone was complainin that it was too hard. That was when I qouted the guy. I am sorry if my "Whinning " is getting on your nerves but in a nutshell all that guy needs to do is flag harder and he wil get deity simple as that.

Aww gay I got demoted to the silver whistle. But I can't have made any bad whistles, at least not for a while. Oh well, it shouldn't be too hard to get it back to gold. Guess I'll have to start whistling again.

That wa me that first complained, it was way too easy granted i took like two months of intense flaggin on and off but it was way too easy to get the "elite" whistle
like it takes even the most insane b/p-ers a year or two to get the highest rank, why can't it be the same with whistles

Because then less people one would want to whistle. Unlike B/P points whistle points are kept secret. Most people stopped flagging after silver because not only did they not know how much they need to get gold and deity but also the person on top could make it even harder for everyone else by raising the bar and weaking everyone else's whistle power. (Like pimp does with the EXP)

If it was made harder to get the top whistles then some people would not only stop flagging after a certain point but also begin to bitch about "The whistle bar is too high make it easier" and shit like that.

I have to ask you a question though would you be happier if everyone had to go through the same thing I did to get the top whistle since It took me a little more then a year to get my deity?

That's true. What I meant was just that it seems to me that every single post of yours revolves around "why did they have to change the whistle system so everyone can get gold and deity now". Maybe I'm wrong, of course, but that's what it feels like, and it does bug me a lot.

The new whistle system is here, and pretty much everyone thinks it's better than the old one, so it's time to move on. Besides, your deity whistle doesn't get devalued because others get one, too, anyway.

And for the record, the old system WAS broken. The point of having whistle levels is to encourage people to flag abusive reviews and flashes that break the rules, but when it's outright impossible to increase your whistle level beyond silver, noone will continue to whistle after reaching that.

It seems like that but that isn't the case. Most of the time people are still complaining about it is still hard to get gold and deity when the Scale is now fixed. That is what truely bugs me. I mean what more do you want? Do you want the NG staff to just give you higher whistles for doing nothing?

Like I said from the start I have no problems with the new system It could just be me reading into whiny users who still think it is too hard to get to the top level when in fact it is quite the opposite now. Also if the old system would have remained in play evenually even me my flagging would have done nothing since I wouldn't be able to gain anymore whistle power but still kill others whistle power in the process since the top user at the time could crush everyone's whistle power and well as set as raise the bar for gold Like pimp does with EXP.

I will give you that. In the way of easy ranks ups after silver yes the old system was messed up. I can't say people didn't try to get past silver either since I read the BBS in the past and I did see a lot of people talking about "I have been flagging for a year and still I didn't get past silver"

But your last statement of it being impossible to increase your level after silver you couldn't be more wrong with that. Diffucult yes Impossible no. I was able to get past silver by the old system as well as Tantera. But then again when I was flagging abusive review I was flagging at a "Insane" speed and not everyone can do that. Thanks for bring up these points I will try to take some things less seriously because I read my own posts and think " I sound like a 50 year old unhappy house wife" when in fact I am not.
