So if I understand Wade's post the only way to lose points is to flag/whistle a review/submission incorrectly. Oui?

You know why? because Deity is now as common as silver was and is. I got big congrats when I did it because it was ultra rare. The same when I got gold. Now they are so common they aren't all that special it is just another thing like B/P and post milestones. But I will give you congrats on it like I did many others now use it wisely.

that was because the bar was raised so high by the previous deity holders before me.
Now that system is changed the you won't lose it unless you gain negetive whistle points since there isn't a sliding scale anymore.

Joe had it before ramagi did and newgrudling had it as well before the system was changed. I was the last person to get it before the system was changed. I think there was another person who had it as well but I am not sure if that is true.

Looking at it, I'd say there's still less than 50 out there, but that's a hell of a lot more than there were - in both gold and deity levels.

No you can get as many whistle points as your hearts desire. it is just that now all the whistle levels are on a fixed scale so it doesn't matter if you have the most you will never be higher then the other deity's.

Besides, Wade also said that silver was too easy to reach so far, and there never was a huge flood of "I got the silver whistle" posts as far as I can tell. It's something that happened occasionally, but not more often than other rank- or level-ups etc., and gold and deity will still be more difficult to reach than the new (and thus also the old) silver, so I doubt we'll see a huge influx of "I got gold" and "I got deity" posts after the initial barrage in the wake of the change. :)
