I bet there isn't a single soul on the planet that dislikes you. (((((schneelocke))))) You're still gaining an average of 60 points on me each day. *casts a backward glance* Most voters won't reach that number if they spend a like amount of time on the portal.Oh, I'm not sure. I think BS dislikes me, for example, but that's just as well, and there's others who don't like me, too.
No worries schneelocke. BonusStage is like that kid Mikey in the cereal commercial. He hates everything.
I just don't get along with certain kinds of people.
How about vampires wolf lady? ^_^ Is there an emoticon to represent vampires?
Maybe I'm just voting against the majority too often - giving new authors too much of a chance, or not voting crap into the portal even though I know it will most likely pass. :)
If that was your attitude on Clock Day then you must have cleaned up big time. I caught the last 5 hours and managed to accumulate around 215 points (mostly saves).
Who knows. In any case, I probably still won't pass you anytime soon (if ever); and you've also always been more of a "legend" to me than, say, Denvish or ramagi, too. ^.^
Legends are all very well but it means nothing unless there's somebody out there to love them.
I don't really know why (although as far as I recall, neither of the former posted much here), but that's the way it is.
Sometimes I miss the old Wi/Ht? members so much it pisses me off in a major way, but life goes on and you adapt with the change.
"Could the pain of tooth or talon be greater than the emptiness or silence?"
It's strange, BTW. Back when gfox retired, for example, I thought "60000 is such a huge number, I'll never reach that", but these days, I'm actually getting somewhat close to it myself already.
That's the way I felt when I was about to pass fixit. At some point he ceased to be a goal and became more of an obsession. Now the robot is a distant memory.
It's a very strange feeling, although certainly not a bad one.
Well if it hurts you're probably doing it the wrong way. <3
