I deposit for my alts (gfoxclock and gfox) with firefox, and for gfoxcook with IE.

This is because I get b/p for gfoxclock on firefox, so I don't want to accidentally get any b/p by leaving gfoxcook logged in one time by accident in firefox.

Even though I use both browsers, I still deposit in less than 5 minutes for all three accounts.

And why have them? Why the hell not, man? I made gfoxclock because I wanted a place to hold "gfoxcook" when gfoxcook was gfoxclock for Clock Day 2003. Since then, it's become a great alt account for posting, name-changing fun, and now for b/ping a second account up into the Elite Guard (AND BEYOND) due to my main account being retired at 60k. Right now I'm posting with gfoxclock in here because... well, I did so with gfoxclock on 4th of July, so why not reply to the replies with it as well... plus I just hit 8822 posts with gfoxcook and that seems like a good number to sit at for a few days. I do shit like that, yanno?

I made gfox because I wanted to make an account for my girlfriend in case she ever wants to post and/or review on NG. She mostly just watches some portal movies and stuff, but if she ever needs an account, she's got a level 16+ account ready for her in the form of my alt alt.

Well, that's what 2600 exp and level 10'll do for you, I s'pose.

Having level 20/18/16 accounts (wheee.... nifty even-number progression!) is certainly nice.

But back when I was level 10, in early 2003, I didn't have any alts at all, and I'd just come off of 3 years of almost entirely-complete NG inactivity. I had a lot of work to do to get some of my niftiness back from my 2000-signup account.

I missed out on a lot either way, though. So just make sure you keep up with the deposits and you'll be fine in the end.
