It's just an idea, but I could imagine that the ratio of good vs. crappy submissions is not the same at all times throughout the day. Presumably, there's a time when the pranksters are in bed/school/whatever, so the relative number of quality flashes might be higher then.

Or maybe you have a higher crap tolerance than others (like me). :)
