Even if you get rid of the cliche of "every man for himself" and make it "every person," it's still got to be "for himself" in the second part, after all. Or herself. But it's gotta be singular, can't say "themselves" or something. Himself tends to be taken as synonymous with oneself.

Well the way I see it is that everyone is on a mission.....we all seem to want whats on the top and in the same process doing whats needed to be done on the 'grounds......as for the everyone for himself/herself its a challenge someone and trying to get there is the battle and the finish line is the reward................

On another note - it seems like this little forum of ours need a little livin' up, since out leader has been away it has been very quiet, me thinks there is some fun needed to get up going again.......any ideas????.........

Where are you guys getting that he might be leaving NG, period? All he said was "next week im coming back full time but after that, I dont know....."

All I'm getting from his post is that he's going to be posting as usual next week, but he might be back to his not posting very frequently, too busy with the gf or whatever, etc. etc. self after next week. I didn't see "leave" or "gone" or anything like that, just "I don't know if I'll be full time after next week."

It sounds like he doesn't know. It doesn't sound like he's going to abandon the BBS forever.

Either that or a scripting error, I would think. I'm leaning towards the scripting error, as I don't think they would set it up like that on purpose, it's too bunched up and inconvenient to gather specific information. I could be wrong, though. Either way, pretty strange.

I just got back from Matrix Reloaded. Anyone else gone yet? Pretty freakin' awesome, and I'm quite glad there's only a few months until the third and final part of the trilogy.

One cool note: during the freeway chase scene, the city in the background has a huge skyline, and I noticed a building from Houston's downtown in it, and also one from Chicago, and I presume there were skyscrapers from a ton of cities. Kick-ass futuristic matrix fantasy skyline!

That is very very cool indeed. Redrum can definitely get on the list as well. Last time I checked, though, I don't believe Mr James or TF were near 5000 points, though, but 80% wouldn't be too bad.
