Not at all, not at all, it looked like they wanted to make a thanksgiving themed logo and couldn't think of anything to do, so they just thought 'meh' and made that awful looking thing.
Anyway the Christmas logo is superior to last year's so that's cool. It's better than the Thanksgiving one, even.

It depends on the person, I guess. I know some relatively new users (joined this summer or something) who have 1.5K+ posts, and I wouldn't say they're spammers at all. It's just easy to gain a high post count when you post consistently throughout the whole BBS.
True, true, but I guarantee there's a fair bit of spam amongst it, maybe not really bad spam, but borderline spam.
If I were to post daily in all the threads and clubs that I keep up with, I'd be able to maintain at least a 20 PPD average.
