Goood moooorning everyone. How's everybody doin? I'm gonna be absent for most of the day today, I'm getting surgery done on my foot. First time I've ever had to get surgery, a little nervous, but at least it's my foot and not my brain. Recon, I'm guessing you're overjoyed with Vancouver's victory over St. Louis last night. Think the Canucks are gonna go all the way this year? Anyway, I'll check back in a few hours, wish me luck!

Thanks for the support, XkwiziTOnE. It's all done with now, but it's really irritating to have to spend 4+ hours in a hospital. BTW, who's your personal pick for the playoffs this year?

I've had several ingrown toenails for over a year now. My doctor kept telling me to do the same thing over and over, but it never seemed to work. Finally he referred me to a surgical doctor to get the damn thing removed. They may only be toes, but believe me, they get to be painful as a bitch when given that much time to develop. Unfortunately, I'm restricted to a chair for the next few days, and they were only able to remove one of several. Although, I would take the pain and sacrifice I have to endure through the next week or so, over a year of suffering anyday.

I was awake, they just froze my foot. Even after putting numbing cream all over my foot 3 hours ahead of time, that freezing needle still hurt like hell. I've had worse though. I was in a horrible car accident when I was 10, and the freezing needle they had to put into my forehead hurt considerably worse.

Yea kinda like when they give you that injection at the dentist (most feared yearly thing i have) it still hurts like hell with that drill but i have my chin sewed back together when i was about 6 so ive had worse.....

Heh, yeah, the dreaded dentist. I never enjoyed my visits either, I've never met anyone who does. I never really felt much pain from the drill, but I was just annoyed when my jaw would be sore from having to keep my mouth open so long. If you don't mind me asking, what was the chin incident about?

Not at all but I can confrim one vital fact the cause....
I was about 4-6 but judging by the fact I was doing about a 5-6 year olds toy puzzle I must have been one of those ages but anyway etheir my brotehr pushed the chair, it slipped(the chair) or I slipped i smacked my chin hard on the table we had (made of some hard material like marble only not as hard) anyway it was cushing of blood and my brother had to do something so he wrapped a flannel round my face and called my mom and dad to go to the hospital but because 4-6 year olds dont believe shit I asked him to show me the blood soaked flannel I rember that image to this day I still get quizzy....My chin was sowen and that was that but it ruined my holday as having stiches removed with a scalpel when you are about 4-6 and fear knifes its very scary.....

Yeah, that's a pretty scary experience for someone at that age to go through. I'm guessing your brother is older than you then? How many years apart are you?
