It did seem extremely tame for a wild animal Adelbert. That and the dim light tricked me into believing it was a dog. Keeping it as a pet is out of the question unless I pull a Grizzly Adams and go live in the mountains ;-)

I sort of know what you mean. I *did* have a few dog friends out there and I've been in situations where we just look one another in the eye without moving or anger...weird stuff.

17 - “Beginning of the End”

Thirty people including an Ancient stayed in the mansion, while the Elite Guard Supreme Commanders planned their next method of attack. All suggested that the group should move before the King himself managed to strike, but that was just an idea. All ideas were dangerous. The two groups in the house were apart at first, eventually mingling together with a few smiles. The thoughts and impressions of who was sided with who were hidden away yet everyone was still tense. No one could change another’s beliefs, but they could forget about them for however long was needed.
Yoink and Mazza told of their honeymoon, sitting by the golden sanded beaches drinking from coconuts while basking in the beautiful sunlight. They had told of the adventures they had gotten up to such as skinny dipping together, walking over fire nude and their must memorable event; passionate love under the stars while a blazing fire kept them warm.
Everyone managed to spare time with Ramagi, some people vigorously rubbing her hand in ‘comfort’ and others stroking her back in a long hug. SCD managed to grin while dropping his empty cup again, taking a glimpse up her skirt, saying he was half drunk, fumbling up her legs. She blushed red when she finally realized that everyone was trying to take advantage of her. After that, she slowly stepped back whenever someone tried to touch her.

Piconjo stared at the monolithic crimson sky above him, which churned slowly. He sighed as he stared at the empty throne. Behind the great crystalline chair of bright white and gold was a gigantic sphere of pink crystal. The Heart of the Portal. All power in the world existed in that very stone. A power no single person could handle but the King himself. If the stone were destroyed, so would the world as well. He looked at the submissions before him, blood down their faces and entrails leaking out of their slashed bodies. Halos glowed above their heads; Holy Ones that had been touched by the King’s heart. Those who tried to leave his world were punished, hurt and converted to join the King’s alliance. Only a few hours, the war would begin and the King’s Holy Ones would destroy the ones above the world which kept perfect balance for the mortal race known as humans. Piconjo knew this was his ultimate dream; the submission’s ultimate dream. But the King was too haste; he would get himself killed if he was not ready. But if he were to use all the power stored in the Heart of the Portal, he would be more than an immortal, more than perfect, he would match the strength of the Gods the left the world thousands of years ago. It would begin very soon.

The King of the Portal smiled as he opened his eyes, standing on a cliff far away that looked onto the huge city. Buildings towered everywhere and many mortals once lived there in harmony in peace. Today he would show them the true power of himself.

Energy built in the clouds as darkness sunk over the city, with no rain or lightning. It was an omen. The King settled into a stance as his eyes thinned, staring at the city where the foolish mortals lived.
"Ego vocare vis viris eminus intestinus universum. Vis viris reservare. Vis viris extermino. Redeo vis viris illo pectus.”
The clouds began to form a shape of a huge monster with arms held back; the shadow of the King himself. The King grinned as a pearl of energy began to glow in front of him. A light of golden threads formed as a miniature sized city rose in front of his body, two feet in diameter. The map stood vertically, allowing him to see directly above the city from a bird’s eye view, wit the small dots of ants in the map resembling life.

The clouds above the city became dense as the earth began to tremble. It would begin very soon.
"Ego vocare vis viris eminus pectus. Illo vis viris extermino. Vis viris mori. Convenio me."
The golden map of the city grew out as buildings rose and shape took form. He pulled his hands in a series of motions, ready to send his right hand smashing into the centre of the city itself; to break it apart.
"Vis viris vocare extermino omnis iam."
He pulled his right hand back to his body as the clouds above the city changed as an arm in the sky moved even higher, as if ready to pound into the land. The King smiled as the cloud began his power; his power to destroy the land.
"Extermino mundi!"
Darkness bloomed in the King’s right hand as he screamed with all his might, pushing it towards the golden map which bended from his strength, his hand securing a hole through as the map snapped like weak twigs. The cloud replied; a veil of darkness hammering onto the city as an explosion of debris took over, the land giving in to the superior unnatural disaster. The King laughed as he pulled his hand out, the golden design fading. He looked upon the massive hole before him where a gigantic mass of pink light radiated from. All the mortals that lived in the city were dead and his kin would now rise. The day had come.
