Call it any of those 3 the one you think is better sounding also Gfox how did you get 3 links in your signautre mine i can barely fit one and some text!
didn't they change the sig text size??
Aye, that they did. Well, not exactly. They kept the actual TEXT limit the same, but they added a higher HTML limit for non-visible stuff. So that's how I can have a link to my profile, the blam/save top 50, and to the Where is/How to? forum.
Here's the HTML (with {}s instead of <s and >s) if you want to see how I did it specifically:
{b}-- GFox -- ({a href="http://www.newgrounds.com/gold/profile/template.php3?id=7941"}profile
{/a}) -- 6100 b/p -- Elite Guard Master Sergeant
-- [ {a href="http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/forum.php?id=3"}where is/how to? member #9{/a} ] -- [ {a href="http://www.newgrounds.com/users_protect_blam.html"}savior/blammer #34{/a} ]{/b}

hey all, wd on being the new meber gfox. Hey all, does this portal buddy thin actually work?!?!
And thanks to you as well.
The portal buddy thing, AFAIK (since I'm not a flash artist, I haven't checked it out for myself, and it may have been slightly changed since Tom introduced it via a topic), works as follows: if you want to share credit with someone on a flash movie, you make them a buddy. They have to confirm it. So if someone asks you to be buddies, you should make damned sure you either A) trust them, or B) have worked with them on an actual flash. Once that happens, when you make a flash you can add them to the credited authors, and they can add you to the credited authors on their flashes. Thus the trust issue--make sure you haven't become buddies with people who will either try to use your good name as a flash artist to up the vote of their so-so flash or worse yet, people will drag your reputation through the mud with a horrible or offensive or hateful crappy flash with your name added in the credits.
To me, it sounds like a good system, but one rife with potential problems. If everyone is careful who they buddy up with, it'll be okay.
