The ranking news for me is i need 272 more points to rank up. My target is to get into the top 150's but i think i might already be there because my profile hasnt been updated yet!

Haha, that's hilarious. Honestly though, at the rate your going, 14 points is a very minor setback. Also, if you look on the good side, at least you still managed to post legibly.
At midnight tonight I will be claiming the number 70 spot in exp, after that in another 13 days from today I ill claim number 69. I start out at number 80 when they put the rankings in the profile, just to give you a reference point. Thanks to a few missing deposits and some movie referals I managed to move up :)

A big event is underway for my family. We're
moving! However, it's the reason we are moving that I am not fond of. Recently, my father told my mother that he didn't love her anymore. It wasn't in a big, loud argument or anything like that. I didn't even know until yesterday when I overheard Mum telling one of my sisters this. So instead of getting a divorce, Mum is calling it a 'seperation'. Without officially declaring the marriage over, Mum is taking all us kids to another house to live in. Dad will be living alone in the house I have lived in all my life. So realistically, my parents won't be the same again. Neither will any of us kids' life.
Right now I think I'm sort of in a state of shock. I don't know what to do. At one stage I was thinking of giving my dad a good whack in the jaw but I realised
that that's what the movies do, and not what I really felt. It wouldn't do much good anyway, probably result in me getting a hemorhage in my head, just like the clown in Billy Madison ;)
The date of the move is not known yet. It will be when Mum has enough money to afford rent. One house being looked at is two story, with everything downstairs and a vast room of nothing upstairs. If we move there, I
want upstairs to be my room! The other I dont know much about.
I asked Mum about stuff we were taking. She said we are leaving all the stuff to sit on! I said "What are we supposed to sit on?" She replied with "These are
times we rely on friends, when we are in need we ask for any help they can give us." I'm not too big on that idea...
During the move, I might be absent from NG for a while. I'm not looking forward to that, but at least you all will know why.
So yeah, I think that's about it. If I've forgotten anything I'll be pissed.

Hey, 14 points here, 14 points there.. they can add up. 14 points is 14 points! It's one thing to be asleep or at work or school or busy doing other things while missing blams and saves, but to actually vote on them and miss them due to drunken lack of logging in.. ouch, I feel for ya, Recon. I've had it happen to me once or twice before back when the "always logged in" bug was going on, but never 14 times in a row without noticing. Heh.

This topic has basically become HQ of the Where is/How to club, and it's acquaintances. There is no longer any given topic in specific, it's just basically where we engage in small talk, and the occasional informative post (see most of gfoxcook's posts).
