Hey gang I can't say I'm new to audio, but I'm indeed new to the Audio Portal... I have a work ready to be uploaded, but I can't upload it... yet (see my thread if u want details, meh) -_-'

If your using an acoustic, just put a mic up to that hole in the middle and that should work fine, and you can use Goldwave, Audacity, Soundforge, etc. to record.
If you using an electric acoustic or an electric guitar, then take your cord, get a female input thing (im not sure what its called) so you can put the guitar cord into the little thingy, and then the little thingy can go into the computer as a microphone, then you open Goldwave (or whatever you are using), hit record, and play your little heart out.
Someone else might want to expand or explain what I just said because I know shit about guitars.
If you're using an electric, get a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter to plug it into your comp. I use the Parametric EQ in FL5 to tweak my sound.
