I thought you were leaving newgrounds ??

nah I only go there when I see something good.

But I hope I don't have to make a post like that for a long time I don't enjoy them as much as I used to.

Well lets talk about something else is any one going to any music concerts....

Or what concerts have you been to I have only been to 3 which were David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, and R.E.M.

??? Huh ??? leaving NG? me? Where would you get that from? Are you sure you're not getting me confused with someone else? I never said anything about leaving - I wished a few other people well - but that's about it...

Concerts - haven't been to any in a long time - not really my crowd I guess...

David Bowie is cool - gotta respect him as an artist as he's been in the game forever. He's actually one of the artists that influenced me greatly - not that you'd notice lately but back in the day maybe...

Same with Springsteen - respect I mean - I personally never cared for his music but you can't deny that he's made a dent

R.E.M. - again - could take 'em or leave 'em I suppose - I like the music but I don't own any of the CD's - know what I mean?

huh I could of sorw that you were leaving to go make a dollar on garageband...

I think your right I got confused probelly because you leveled up...

R.E.M was my first guy I listen to and like since I was 5 years old I bought all of his cd's but then I grew up and kind of forgot about him but then when he came to town I just had to go see know what I mean? he played all the songs I wanted to here it was great.

Response to The Audio Forum Lounge 2005-06-28 19:09:27

R.E.M are cool, one of my favourite rock bands of all time. Maybe i'm just ignorant but before them, i'd never heard anyone quite like them.

This year Leeds festival (americans read lollapollooza, if thats a real festival and not one made up in daria) Gonna see some emo, some metal, and some Roots Manuva and also see many acts of random cruelty. Last year after seeing bouncing souls i tihnk it was, some guy got gripped and put in a bin headfirst by his "friends" :)

Classic.

And should I take off all my below decent songs?

Don't ignore me this is an easy question...

Im just saying check it out if you didn't.

Maybe i should check this "radiogrounds" out. It's summer, and im seeking out employment. Do you get any kind of money for being a DJ? Ok, to be more clear, do you get anything out of it other than the satisfaction of being a DJ?

Response to The Audio Forum Lounge 2005-06-30 17:28:57

HELL NO.

Haha, you think they pay internet DJs?

General principle, unless you step into a studio or club, you won't get a dime.

There's also JetAudio, which is a pretty cool MP3 Player that comes with a broadcast thing-a-mah-bob called JetStream. It's pretty easy to use and you can do it anytime. users select your streama s they would a radio station.

DJ's make a shit load of money too. It's rediculous.

Have any of you tried beatmatching with turn tables? I've been messing around a little bit with it, it's not as easy as it looks.

I went to the E.M.P. last year and they had all these cool interactive D.J. displays and stuff. One was beat matching..and yeah, it takes some practice.
I always wanted to scratch....It looks like so much fun.

On a semi-randomly-related note, anyone who's interested in mp3 dj'ing and hasnt heard of any programmes for it should try atomixmp3.com the "better" and probably not free software is recommended by the ministry of sound, but my mate can do fat drum n bass sessions on the atomix mp3, which imitates real vinyl decks. Not my cup of tea, cant be arsed with it myself but it is good.
