If it's Flash books that you want then I could suggest a few:

Flash Hacks by Sham Bhangal
Flash Visual QuickPro Guide (this one is not yet out as it's for v. 8 but the others in this series are really good books to have on hand as reference - very easy to use but be sure to get the ones with a cheetah on it - not the rabbit - the rabbit books are way too simplified to be of any use to anyone but a complete beginner)

Flash mx 2004 demystified (for an older version but a good book nonetheless - I would imagine that a version 8 book will be released soon)

Those are a few for Flash - for general animation there are a few as well but I'd need to dig up the titles and links.

- Sorry - Peachpit press puts out a ton of books on software - they are split into two basic types - the Visual QuickStart (which has a picture of a rabbit jumping through a monitor in the upper right corner of the cover, and the QuickPro books (cheetah in place of rabbit...

The QuickStart series (rabbits) are for COMPLETE beginners and usually cover VERY basic and simple tasks where the QuickPro series (cheetahs) are for intermediate users and up...

I would recommend the cheetahs...

Flash Hacks (link above) is a really good book to get - a ton of really good stuff in there - undocumented action script - all of that - ranging from very easy to quite difficult but it's all clearly marked.

I think it's a great book that will let you play with the samples and experiment which I feel is really the very best way to learn.

I don't get it. Not that im mad or anything, it just makes me confused. So last night I went to the Industrail section of the audio portal. (My favorite section :) ) And checked out some new stuff and looked around. Today, I got up and went back to the Industrail section to look and see if theres any new stuff, and everythings all weird.

It's obvious that someone went through and voted 0's on about all the first 20 songs. :O chainsaw_09's scores went down on his 4 top industrail songs, Helix6's scores went down on his 7 top songs, and Rucklo's "I Like Machines" song went down on the score. They are like the three kinds of that section if you ask me.

This really isn't a big problem, im just confused, is it normal for someone to go to a section and bomb everyones score just for the hell of it?
