What happens when some one who doesn't know how to use

FL

gets high and uses

FL

for something seemingly gritty yet quite entertaining?

How the hell should I know. Go ask Mr.Owl.

There are better things to do when you're drunk than hanging in this forum. But then again you have to be really drunk to appreciate it. Jingle all the way.

Give you a good review? You're talking about schizoessert.

I was harsh. But jeeze man, I was being honest. I told you WHY it sucked. I didn't mean to come off as a total dick, but I listened to it and wondered why you didn't put any effort into production. It's all great that you had fun, I just expressed what I felt listening to it.

I'm not going to control my reviews just to get a nice fake laugh. You guys were talking about being banned, so I just said it.

A claymation?

The concept alone is breathtaking.

It'd be like the old Clayfighter games for SNES!
I remember playing for the first time at a big video game event in Tacoma..Looong time ago. 1997, I think. They had all the new SNES games all over the place. It was awesome. Tons of contests too. They would set up about 10 screens and you would compete with 9 other people to see who can get past the first couple of levels the fastest..I think I won a pen for 2nd place..haha.

Here's a decent example of what a claymation based flash game could look like:

It would need some good vg music though - I'm certain that Chronamut could help in that department. - How've you been by the way?

And then it got on the n64, and it sucked, and was officialy denounced as the worst game ever for n64 by PC gamer and official nintendo magazine :-)

and if it was it looked faked.

I been good I learning visual basic by reading books and going on internet and stuff. Made a movie with Chronamut's song and I stoped boxing because the nerd inside of me got to big...

You where did you go by the way?

I tried to learn actionscript once, but failed. I'm too lazy to animate anything.

well yes it is quite hard and kind of boring to learn but once you know how do it the end results feels good...

:) - I don't know if it was or not - that's why I wrote:

hence - "could" - either way though - that game had a unique look to it and I think a claymation based flash game could be a really cool project to work on.

And to comment on actionscript - PiePie is right - AS can be a pain to learn but once you're familiar with it it opens up a whole new world of possibilities - You really should take the time to learn it - you can do some very cool things with it. And it'll make the next language easier to learn as well...

well I want to go with one language at a time and first im I want vb. I made a really good game engine for my capabilities... To bad I don't know what to do with it.

Yes you are right after I have a good feel of vb I will get into that because then I could be with my flash etc etc...

Ahhh its good to see the Audio Lounge full of activity again. It should be like this everytime.

Also Lj you did not answer my question where did you go? Some guy made up a myth that you died...

it wasn't me :)

Sorry - I didn't realize that was aimed at me - Actually I've just been getting my arse kicked with work - I work for a multimedia company and I'm pretty much the production department - we sometimes hire contractors to pick up overflow but for the most part it's just me...

Usually late in the year business picks up to the point where I have little or no time to do much else - sometimes we gat insane amounts of work - 80+ hours a week isn't uncommon this time of year. Things are still very busy but as the holidays approach things die down a bit and then after the first of the year it'll most likely be dead for a few months... Then I'll work maybe 5 or 10 hours a week until things pick up again next summer. It all works out though.

What's with all of the new names I'm seeing floating around? Looks like maybe 5 or 10 new people at least.

wow well keep on working hard.

Now about the new people it seems that more people are coming because of the non cake atmoshpere in the audio part of the site.

Or that people understand that music is important and fun to do and a lot more easy to do than flash ( im jk)

That's cool - I'm glad to see more people are taking an active role - I'm sure in a few weeks or so I'll get to know a few more of them. It would be nice if the audio forum could at least pass up the Programming/Scripting forum...

Oh well...

I'll type more later...

out.

And where the hell were you back when I asked everyone if they did any Flash work?

A few months ago I posted up job ads and messaged everyone about picking up some contract work and i had no takers... I got one response from a guy who never emailed me after I sent him the job requirements.

When I needed people to pick up extra work nobody was interested - now all of the sudden everyone knows Flash...

And to think I've been treading water all by myself trying to keep up with all the work since late August...

Sheesh! - aint that just a bitch...

Oh well - maybe next year huh?
