and how do you "muffle" your song too???

plz PM me ASAP i realy need to know

right click the main volume bar, and select 'create automation clip.'

if you want to muffle your song (filter) go to the mixer, add the free filter effect, open it up, and right click frequency. Create an automation clip.

Now go to the pattern thingie. on the bottom where you drag in automation clips/audio clips, just click where you want the automation clip to be. And then move it around... it should look like a ramp up if you want to fade in, ramp down for fade out.

Ehhhhh i'm tired... I could help you out on msn or something. just drop me a pm. ;)

Does anyone have any good suggestions for getting free soundfonts? The only ones I really need are the Acoustic Guitar and more variety of Drums, particularly a really deep War Drum (don't remember the name of it) like in a lot of fantasy movies.

I know this has been answered here before, and I went to the suggested website a few months ago, but now after needing it again and reading through the topic 3 times, I can't find it.

Peejunk's Fruity Loops Studio Tutorial #1

SectionZ Fruity Loops projects.

Now the SectionZ site lets people upload there fruity loops projects to the site for others to download. Remember not to re submit other peoples work and claim it as you own.

You should use it to help learn different things in fruity loops, sort of a live tutorial.

I was wondering if anyone could check out some of the songs i've done and give their advise on how i could better my music. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and help me learn more about creating better songs. If you want the project file to check it out just let me know and i can email it to you or something.

Swift, I've listened to a good bit of your tracks already and I gotta say you are improving a lot. I'm not sure what advice to give you other than just, "keep at it." I really like your music and why your ratings are so low... well, that's just bad luck or something. I gave ya some 5s to even things out :D

I don't think you can really say what is the "best" anyone did with the demo because that is all opinionated.

I have a question that was probably already asked... but here goes.

I've been trying to make music based off of Iridion 3D, the gameboy SP game that I enjoyed so much. Would a collaboration of all of them be better, or each one( which is about 1:00 long each) at a time in a row? I'm also trying to add stuff to it in order to give it a newer feel. Can you help me?

(BTW I just listened to some of your music, and I gotta say that's pretty damn awesome.) :)

Lol... but you see, Waterflame is like an FL God and I believe he did both of those with the FL5 Demo, but he's been practicing and making tunes with FL4 forever. I think he's one of the only people that can quickly compose and put together a good song in a demo of FL. Today I'm pretty sure he uses FL6, the full verison.

I'm new around here, read the newbie help and things to prepare, and already have a few songs to sumbit (need to loop almost all of them for file size reasons.)

Anyways, I was wondering when I submit, it stated that the mp3 should be at 44.1khz. When you export from FL is it already set at that?

Yep, the full was over that.. so I cut it to a smaller loop type length and size. I've got about 7 works stacked up sitting in my projects folder. I'll see what I can do to make them sound just as good.

To HardcoreGabbers nl request:

Take a deep (maybe filtered) bassdrum and use EQ and Fast Dist (Fast Dist you could use twice).

If you so choose. You couold reWire FL and Reason, lots of other ReWire applicable programs together and use the powers of 2 programs instead of one, or you could finish a song in FL, and master it/add FX to it in Soundforge or something.

Be creative.

sup guys?

just wondering, how do you draw curves in the piano roll automation? I can only put points. I really want to draw in a filter sweep for example.

Any ideas?

You know how you can control the speed of the song by just clicking on the transport bar and setting it? Well, it just sticks there, as well as setting which effects go where. Is there any buttons I can hit to change those manually, or is there a way I can make it function by the old method again?

I don't know much about fuit loops but, you've had it for some time, right? If it's never done this before, I would suggest reinstalling it, but what do I know?

I hope my sig dosen't come out distorted

Well, that's what I was thinking of doing, but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

Do you happen to have the link to the fruityloops you downloaded?

Open your browser > Click Channel presets > Click TS404 > Drag any of the preset basses on to the Step Sequencer .

Now you can add all different types of effects to help you fine tune the sound you're looking for. Reverb and Flanger and soon.
