Final day of Drunk Cast
Hey guys!
It's been a good while since I've been on this site, but I'm back and have some new music I'd like opinions on! It's orchestral, and sadly composed and exported from Sibelius so the instruments sound like crap. However I think the overall orchestrations are preserved enough to get the main ideas across in a way that can be appreciated.
So let me know what you think!
I am composing these pieces of music to go along with a story I am writing titled "Dragon's Revenge," so each one is composed as if to match a film (as that's how it appears in my head).
A bit about the story:
It's a tale about, go figure, the Dragon race in a medieval-fantasy setting. The Dragons are, slowly, losing their power to transform from a humanoid form into their true Draconic forms and nobody knows why. An envoy of the Dragon race, our leading lady, is sent to various human nations to try and ascertain the reason behind her race's problems. What she finds is... well, not good, to say it in the nicest way possible. A few humans are roped into her journey and ultimately the world is devastated by the wickedness behind the Dragon's loss of power to transform. The journey to reclaim their world is long and perilous, and the music will begin to reflect the darker side of things to come very soon.
For now though the music represents, mostly, the uplifting and triumphant feeling of being (or riding on the back of) a Dragon. They're meant to sound cinematic, but also representative of the various happenings I describe in their information sections.

Years ago I started composing music for a concept album that I thought it would never see the light of the day. But here we are, I'm currently recording it with some internet friends.
