Hey, first time poster here. I've been on Newgrounds a long while now, but I've registered not so long ago. My main interest for now is audio, so that's why I'm posting here. I'm new to making songs so I could use some feedback. Check out my page for my songs:

This piece was composed back in 2007 for someone who was going through a hard time in their life. The idea behind this piece was "If our lives were a musical, this is the song I'd sing to you now".
This does not have the vocals because, for some reason, I don't have the original version, and I seem to remember the vocals being quite rushed and horrible (nor do I remember the lyrics 2 years later), so enjoy the instrumental of the piece.
it's supposed be hip hop-ish with a few Christmas-style elements. just a little something to kick off my holiday season. anyone that reviews/votes will get a review and vote from me on the song of their choice, just put a link in your review. and don't vote high just to get a high vote from me, judge it how you would normally judge it, and i'll do the same to you. i won't 0-bomb your song just because you 0'd mine, as long as you give a good reason in the review. saying "yo dat song sux" isn't helpful, just like saying "y0, dat wuz de shee-it" isn't either. anyway, sorry about ranting in the ad thread. peace.

A producer and DJ, Fancy Mike has been featured on the December 2009 Cosmopolyphonic Radio Mix along with the likes of Elaquent, Flako, Samiyam, Teebs, Mount Kimbie, mndsgn, monopoly and devonwho. "Hipster Crack" is his new single. While there still is no word of a full length release, Fancy Mike keeps perfecting his craft with every song release. Having just released the "Fancy Mike EP" earlier this year, we now await for a possible second EP sometime in 2010.

I was being dumb and made a new topic for this. But it goes here, so here's the same text all over again!
This is a new account for me, so I'm currently waiting for my first submission to be approved. That will be here when it gets approved. It's called Sad Song (repeat) and isn't that great because its from around 2007, and was the first song I ever finished. (not that I've finished that many...)
Once that gets approved, I'm probably going to continue to upload my modest collection of songs, mostly created on fruity loops. Currently (although I'm sure this is subject to change) I plan on releasing my music under the name 'Jcik Nau (Pronounced Jick Naw). I was hoping I could get some feedback on a couple of my songs that need polishing before I upload them.
This is a song called Arise, My Automated Army! And it is done completely with samples. My dad works for one of the largest chemical corporations in the world as a chemical engineer. More simply, he makes foam. You know tempur pedic beds? He doesn't make those beds, but its the same stuff. So to make foam you have a bunch of giant machines. His job is basically to design and run those machines. So he did me a favor, and took my digital recorder to work and recorded a bunch of them. This song uses a recording of just one.
I know there isn't that much going on, mostly just because its like only 3 or 4 samples. It might just be an intro. So yeah, any comments or criticism on it?
And I will return the favor in the form of reviews/ votes for anyone who gives me advice.
