Firstly, I'll give you some info, seeing as I know some people won't bother with the link.
The Ritual is a metal band, located in Aberdeen Scotland. We want to be as versitile as possible, the lightest we'd do being Hard Rock, with the heaviest being the heaviest type of metal we can find.
This incarnation of the band has existed for a little over a month now, with a gig planned for July 23rd. We've got 2 songs completed, and 3 in the works. The morning before, me and the guitarist (Andrew if you bother with the link) recorded a demo version of our song "Chaos". It's more grungy than the new version, which is just a heavy mofo!
Anyway, what's this got to do with the Audio Portal? Well, we'll be heading into the recording studio some time in August, and I was thinking of ways to properly getting our name out there. That's when I remembered the Audio Portal!
Anyway, I was hoping that you go check us out, listen to the song. I'm the vocalist. And just so you know, I sing in future songs, it's not all screamed :L Then I want you to report back here, say what you think, but remember to be critical as well.
Also, Bebo is like Myspace, but easier to operate. It would be cool if you guys signed up as well. If you do, add me as a friend, and become a fan of The Ritual. Then go to our poll and choose "John". It's a little joke the 5 of us have got going :L

Is it wrong to record body noises for ambitious music project?
Has the world become dependent on synths and instruments in order to make music?
Have people lost touch with there inner ability to make music without these things??

I am currently making a track that will be composed mainly of body noises etc and that will have very little synths in, the song is named Natural Expression...
It is only work in progress but I am getting constant emails telling me to "give it up" and the current score of the song is under 1.00
