Wake Up Call (Soundclick)

I spent about half an hour this morning making this in between studying for exams. I tried out a little bass syncopation for a funkier feel. I also used a repeating melody and played some different modal roots underneath it to see how that sounded. I think it gives it feeling of building up to something...but I dont know what!

Its unfinished at present (which is why I put it on Soundclick) but I hope that people can give me some tips or suggestions on what they think would fit. Feel free to PM me if you think of something!

Its the Audio Forums where nothing is worth reading but its definitely worth a post every week, right? Seriously, take this into consideration if you haven't already. Don't you expect people to review your songs?

Do you have a problem with reviewing the two previous submissions when you post a new link? Are we just asking too much of you?

This was suggested because very often, people post links to new tracks but 4 or 5 more people come in immediately after them and post their own links - what ends up happening is that nobody pays any attention to any of it. By reviewing a few people before you, you're doing them a favor by giving them the reviews that they are looking for as well as usually getting back twice as many yourself.

I didn't think that what I wrote was just wind in sails and hot air - apparently you feel that way though.

Sorry for the misunderstanding LJ. Sarcasm is a futile attempt on Forums, and basically any writen form of communication. Don't just read the first part of my post though because I'm agreeing with you 100%. I thought this was clear enough, but the "blahty blah" thing probably sounded like I was mocking you:

Basically I was saying that we shouldn't wait to respond to reviews, we should take action into our own hands and review without expecting reviews in return. Add to the Audio Community, not just expect things without giving first.

So again, I'm agreeing with you. In the Audio Sticky Update topic I even suggested that the 2 review/post notion be listed in the Audio Sticky.

And since no ones going to look back at the past posts here let me quote you on that.

I think its definitely a good idea, I just don't think many people are following it and for it to be a random post in the Advert Forum, it just gets skimmed over hence the "blah blah blah" thing.
