IDK how it works over there, but NG only accepts MP3s which is lame. If Soundcloud doesn't support WAV either then NG would def be better.
well yeah it aint that good but Soundcloud's stream quality is extremely horrid, anything above ~10k Hz and below 100 Hz gets crushed, like literally. They stream in 64 kbps OPUS nowadays, which is significantly worse than Newgrounds' stream. I'd just rather upload at NG for stream quality, really, even if its lossy compression the audio is still indistinguishable from the wav master file for most listeners. My song uses a lot of supersaws and cymbals (which are quite a staple in trance) and hearing the saws just die in certain high frequency ranges is godawful for a contest submission (the contest requires only youtube and soundcloud as the platforms to be submitted on unfortunately)
