The VAC link is the official messageboard for the then "Newgrounds Voice Acting Club". So anybody looking for or "aspiring" to become a voice actor should lodge their interest there. Just go to the VAC and VAA and see for yourself. Plenty of opportunities to "aspire to become a voice actor" there - flash animations or otherwise. Heck of a lot more to do than around here at any rate. Unless you're the type that likes to wait for people to PM you and ask you to do voiceovers for them based on a single posting in this thread. Which is highly unlikely at best.

I need some voice actors, or just one, really, to record some mumbles, kind of like, "Weh Wah Weh." really, though any kind of mumble or gibberish would be fine.

Im looking for a male, Not with a deep voice, but not with a high voice either.

PLEASE READ THIS, NEED VOICE ACTORS

Looking for some Voice Actors for an upcoming flash cartoon I'm going to make. Now this flash is going to be a trailer for a fake movie (I.E. it doesn't/wont exist). Anyway I have 3 speaking parts left to be filled, Gary (Male), Sarah (Female), and Kortni (Female).

Character Descriptions-

Gary:
-Kind of serious tone of voice.
-Somewhat depressed sounding.
-Friendly.

Sarah:
-Typical girl voice.
-Sort of valley-girlish, but not too much.
-Very nice, and thoughtful sounding.

Kortni:
-Kind of serious tone of voice too.
-Somewhat depressed.
-Easy to piss off.
-Kind of sensitive.

If you are interested, please PM me, and we'll go from there!

Thanks in Advance, Jimtopia

PLEASE READ THIS TOO!

Sorry to double post, but I forgot one thing, I'm going to need a narrator for this whole thing too, I need it to be a male, who has a naturally low voice, and can speak in sort of a dramatic way.

Thanks again.

Welcome to the PIE audition!

PIE will be a pretty short movie, but will contain a very funny rap, written by me.
If you want to voiceact Billy or The Mother, you must be good at talking fast and have a good singing voice.

Name of Movie: Billy and Pie

Playing Time: around 3 minutes

Movie Infomation:

The movie PIE is about a guy named Billy who wents to a mart, to buy a pie. The shop assistent Jamie tells him that they´re out of pie (Did I tell you how much Billy loves pie? ).
So Billy gets all upset, starts hip hop´ing a rap I´ve written. I´m using Chamillionaire´s Hip Hop Police music (Link: http://youtube.com/watch?v=oQlgJQgoytk, but with my own funny lyrics.
When he´s done singing the movie is actually over. Not totally, but I´ll keep the end a secret for now.

CHARACTERS:
BILLY
Billy sounds pretty stupid but not moronish. His voice sounds childish.
Audition Line: "Uhm.. Err.. A marshmel.. NO! A, a cookie.. Naah.. I can´t decide! They´re all so wonderful!!.. Yup! A pie!"
His voice is very moronish when he´s "Uhm"´ing and "Err"´ing. Everytime he says what he want (ex. A cookie) he sound very happy. When he´s saying "I can´t decide!", he sound like his world is crashing, and his life is a nightmare.
When he´s saying "They´re so wonderful!!" he sounds very glad, actually like he´s dreaming.
JAMIE
Jamie sounds like a normal teenage boy. His voice sounds terrible and he kinda sound like a nerd.
Audition Line: "Sorry, we´re out of pie at the moment"
THE MOTHER
The mother sounds like a adult responsible woman. You know. Like a mother.
Audition Line: "Don´t listen to him my little Croff"
She sounds worried, and she says "Croff" with some kind of russian accent. Like the name was spelled "Crroff".

AVAILABILITY:
BILLY
JAMIE
THE MOTHER

You will, of course, be credited!

I, myself, am located at the Voice Acting Alliance for the more proffesional feel it gives (Nothing against the VAC though)

But I think I'll offer my halloween services here:

My name is Hintaku Ryugata-san, from New Hampshire. I am in the process of making seventy-five thousand Mermaid Melody fandubs, every hour. Also Naruto. I can be found on the VAA as... 80% of the members.

Alrighty, something of an exaggeration there, though I'm hoping you're not calling the VAA "proffesional" in much other than its layout design. Otherwise, I'd be inclined to disagree. Greatly.

I'm not making comparisons to the VAC, but if you really want a professional feel, have a look at www.voiceoversavvy.com.

To the person who mentioned discussing payment.. sorry to disappoint you, but rarely do we get paid here, unless the animator wins a Newgrounds monthly prize or something. It's not so bad when you look at it as 1) a chance to get experience, and 2) remember that in most cases, the animator is not getting paid for making the movie and therefore money to pay the voice actors would have to come out of their own pocket. If that were the case, they'd probably just want to record the voices themselves.
