It has now been a week since i started my movie, and i've finished a third of it... So don't worry about "voicing my flash and then never hearing from me again".

I COULD, however, do with a decent voice recording program. I think I'll use Cool Edit Pro, cause I can easily get that.... Anyone have any other suggestions? What programs did you guys use?

I'd be interested.

Anyway, I use Audacity for recording ^^; Although sometimes I end up going into CoolEdit in order to use the FFT filter cause that thing rocks.

Sorry to double post but Turbo I'm ready to start now if you can give me some more guidance on how you want her voice to sound. Maybe you could AIM me and I could send you an example line and see if you want the pitch higher or lower or what?

Anyway yeah I found the FF clips, thanks. I'm working on a videogame demo so if anyone else knows some good game sites with clips of female characters' voices then let me know.

I just use Cool Edit Pro. I find it to be the easiest program out there.

I have no idea why they wouldn't. I haven't had any reports of anyone having problems before. They're just standard MP3s.

About the favorite voice actor/inspiration question. I have to say Moneca Stori. She is so awesome and I envy her Kagome voice..haha, I wish I could sound exactly like her. Heather Kafka was probably the first to inspire me though.

Hmmmmmm..... Considering that I derived my screen name from a character he plays, I'd say the voice of James Earl Jones is pretty damn inspiring. The deep, rumbley bass of Darth Vader from Star Wars and Omahdon from Flight of Dragons. Not that I can even come CLOSE to imitating him, but in terms of inspirations he'd probably be one of them. Other professional voice actors I find totally awesome are Orson Welles, Cam Clarke and Steve Blum/David Lucas.... Who are all famous for playing evil people. I wonder if there's a connection? Hmmmm!

Guy : Urgh ( Make it sound like he's losing)
Basicly that's the plot XD and he loses by the way... SO anyone interested? Oh and here's what the characters look like

I think I'll follow up on majorblood's post as well...

The first show to really get me interested in american cartoony-style voice acting, was my beloved Samurai Pizza Cats.
It had so many terrific voice actors all around, and I still love trying to imitate all the characters. If I had to pick a favourite actor from that show it would be Rick Jones, who voiced Speedy Cerviche and a few minor characters.

However, the one who inspired me to actually become a voice actor myself, was Matt Chapman of Homestar Runner flash cartoon fame.
I was just in awe when I discovered that he provided the voice for every single male character on the site, and I hope to one day be even close to as skilled as that guy.

Hi everyone! I've been cast in a lot of your work now, and I wanted to give you all a heads up. Tomorrow, my province is going to pounded with a HUGE blizzard. I will more than likely lose power, but I don't know for how long. The last time this happened, I was out for three days.

Wish me luck! ^_^

You must be really good. O_o I've been making VA offers around here for months and have only been in three flash animations so far (one of them being only two words, and another that got blammed as soon as it came out).
