Good thing I'm working on implementing that system (you can currently like/unlike threads, and you can see which threads a user has liked on their profile)

Hey, I was working on it this morning, didn't you see? :-P I only stopped working on it today because of a Christmas party at work, and I started working on a side project for a friend. I don't play WoW at work, and I don't write code at home (most of the time), so you leave WoW out of it! (lol, don't take that too seriously, I'm just playin' around)

you know who you're talking too ? I dont even take court seriously lol

Works well. Any chance we might see a "Last 5 liked topics" in the profile?

When the fuck do you find the time to write all this code on the side? Maybe you're just God, because trying to figure out the code for one function you write in an hour would have taken a good few days.

I need you to help me test something. To see if I fixed that hellish jumping of the menu options that was happening.

do you have a link to the file, or can I use the one I got now ?

bwahahahahaha good job buddy!
I replaced the old main with the new main; in my browser the buttons are stationary, don't change colour at all, and ill check every button right now actually... none of the nav buttons fuck up when you click em - also I checked before replaced and the buttons were still saved in a fucked up state on the page, second I replaced the main it changed 1 sec later to what it's suppose to be
looks like you fixed er

Rocket still seems to be having the problem. SK, how about you?

The problem is fixed for the nav links, but the external links at the bottom (art sites, tutorial sites, etc.) are still clumping up.

actually I didn't even notice that til now - I attached a ss so you can see the prob quik
also the top tab should be transparent >_>
I've added a chatbox to the forum/thread pages, for temporary use. The box is draggable, and you can type up to 255 characters in a message. The messages from the previous 5 minutes will be shown grayed-out, so you can see any earlier messages (and so you don't lose the messages when you click to a different page).

SK you are the man.. man lol
I feel like I could suggest anything and you'd just code it on your lunch break lol

I would say that I think this is ok for temporary use but I don't like having to drag it around when I'm reading threads. It is impressive you can come up with such good stuff so quickly.
Also, important stuff here. Questions about it or something contact either me or Rocket or just post your concerns and whatev in that thread.

Hmm, it isn't going to the right post. Hell, not even the right page. But whatevs, here is the link to the topic. My post, #139.

Just kidding, I fixed it this morning instead. Just forgot to put a sorting statement on a database call.
So the simpler layout is up. Please provide feedback in this thread.
I'm gonna be on in a few hours to test everything that's current
For those of you who don't feel like surfing around in the alpha forums

That's the cleaner version of what the new layout could look like (Quiks handy work)
This is really just an excuse to bumpty bump - but feed back in this topic or on the forums would be great
thanks

Hey, that image knows I'm online... :D
Looks good, I've been busy lately but lurking in this thread. Hell, I almost texted my ex to let her know RG was coming back up. Almost...but then I remembered what a cunt she was, but hey, the thought still counts right?
Anybody remember her on RG? That was years ago...

lol it's always the thought that counts buddy, that's why were all saints right *cough lol

Her profile still loves me though.
lmao the name seems really familiar - I think I remember her
quick question, did you meet her through RG or did you know her already
i dont really care, I just get this image in my head of like e-harmony only with RG instead lmfao

No, not on Retrogade, but in my art class in high school.
Hence, we ended up on RG.
Is the new retrogade gonna rock level icons again? Or is the whole concept being redone? Haven't seen that proposed yet, so I was just wondering...

actually that's a great question to bring up
Me personally I'm all for them, just because it's something users can work towards, gives users an excuse to login at least once a day and check shit out - stat hunters love em - ect ect

If anything, I think we should go the way of achievements like Red Vs. Blue has lol
I'm fine with the idea of levels, just not level icons like NG has plastered all over the place. No idea what these achievements things are but I think that might be a good idea to throw into the mix. But one idea I've been playing with would be Milestones. Like, after you reach 1,000 posts you'd get a 1,000 post milestone badge or some shit. I don't know, whatevs.
maybe just a level icon in the profile page or something ? keep the forums clean
I like the milestones idea. wasnt there something like that before ? with the 1000 posts type thing - either way any medals, acquirable type features, personalized colour scheme, I think is a great idea
minus rg dollars or whatever that crap was before lol
