I think that every book I haven't read on my shelf (12) are classed as must reads, but I also must revisit the Hobbit, LotR, The Silmarillion and finally read unfinished tales. I think I've got enough material to last me the year, at least.

LordSkeletor professed his leave of NG in the writer's guild. Says he won't be on much more anymore. *tear*

Out of the 40, id say i have read... well, lemme count in my head *uses fingers* 14 of'em. So as you can see i have ALOT of books to read. I'd say another 15 or so of them i have started i nthe past but stopped, only because, a few year back i was having eye problems and could never read comforatbly. Since then, i have gotten reading glasses and can now make it through a book no matter what the font size. : )

Can't say i know. ^_^

I just had a quick count. In my room, there's 84 and then I ran out of space to store any more.

Okay, I've had an absolute tragedy today. Due to constraints in the budget department and the storage department, I could not purchase any new books today, when I walked into Waterstones.

This series sounds interesting. I just looked at the new one, Emperor: The Field of Swords. I shall have to consider this one further down the line.

Well, there's five of them. By the sound of the blurb in the newest one, this is going to be the last one in the series. It's getting close to Caesar's death, so he may find his end in this installment. I know that doesn't nessesarily mean the end of the series, but I would not expect it to run forever, especially as it is based around know historical events.

Well if that the case, i know that there is five and won;t have to worry about missing any.

Have you read any of them?

I like fiction stories base do non-fictional events... not sure why, just interesting to grasp.

Not yet, but the blurb of the last one sounded so good that I know I'm going to read it sometime. As soon as I do, there will be a review posted here.

You can use historical background to enhance the story. It's like in Sci-Fi, you can use Sci-Fact to put some of the theories across. It makes the story more believable.

It's a toss up between JRR Tolkien and Terry Pratchett. I cannot begin to compare them, because they are both so different in writing style and approach, but I love both authors works.

The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse, by Robert Rankin. I've never read any of his before, so I thought I'd better give them a try. There is a serial killer on the loose in Toy City (Formerly Toy Town) and so far, they have killed Humptey Dumptey, Little Boy Blue and Mother Goose. I have no conclusions so far, but I will work it out.

Eventually.

Ah, that's a masterpiece of a work!

Ya, i love classic lit.

I done a SSL on it once. The year previous I did 'A Tale Of Two Cities', but as I was not told what date to do it for (my English teacher is now out of job for incompitence), I had 2 school days (without sleep) to read all of the book and type up a 2000 word essay on it.

Ouch. Good job on that teacher getting fired. Rough essay.

OMG, COOP - Writer's Craft starts on Feb 1. My first ever, real... creative writing course. Plus... it counts as a credit towards applying for uni. What a bird course that will be for me. ^_^

Maybe, might beat me. But when i said library, i actually meant library. An entire room dedicated to books, except the nice chairs etc. However, i don't know how many shelves or w/e we have, so it could be close.

Hmm, an escalation, of the literaure variety. I think I could stretch as far as several thousand books of differing varieties and conditions stored within my house alone.

Once I get my new bedroom, I shall REALLY start to collect.
