I read one post where it said that The BLAMming Club: Enemies of CRAP had disbanded, the reason was that there were no more submissions to Blam. I am confused. The Blam Club thread is still alive, and there still excepting new members. And there's always submissions to Blam. So I want to know what the deal is.

heh where did you read that? Its true that there isnt as much to blam as there used to... But the club is still alive.

What do you mean that there isn't as much to blam as there used to be? Do you mean near the beggining of NG there was about 20 crappy entries being submitted every 5 minutes? As for where I heard that info from, I'm not 100% sure, but I think it was from format. (Ozcar, maybe?)

There was at least 3000 movies Around the portal under 100 votes( Im pretty sure there was alot more.. just dont wanna make a too high of a number). and more kept coming. A little while after the point system came out People got point hungry and started Voting on everything. Now the only points there are, are the ones that are submitted on the top 50 list

No... There was no such thing as "blam points" You had to be the final vote to get blams. (25th at 0.67, 50th at 1.00, 75th at 1.25, or 100th at 1.50)

That's why most of the older users (by means of older, I mean been here the longest) have such high amounts of Blam/Protect points on NG. =P

Ummm.... no... thats not it at all..

There were like.. 5-10 people that had 500 or more blams before the "Blam and Protection point" system was created. (Only 2 of those are in the top 10 blams/saves right now)

When the blam/save point system was put into effect last fall, everyone pretty much had the same chance, you could have joined that day and could be in the top 10 right now.

Like I said, you had to be the final vote to get a blam, you had to be the one who caused the death of the movie. You didn't get "blam points" just for voting on it, and even now, you only get 1 point per movie. So even if you do vote on it twice, you will only get one point.
