I did an update. My original intention was to do all the updates until Josh got back from his vacation, but after the first update, I noticed (well, EVERYONE noticed) that the blams/saves sheets were majorly FUBARed due to faulty dat files (nothing on my part, at least I hope not lol).
Ahh, okay...
Well, I like the thread and list. I'm sure most of you all do, so I talked to him and he allowed me to run it while he was gone.
Yeah, but it's not like he disappeared without warning like others have (cough)NGling(cough)Dogma-for-awhile(cough)others(cough)... we knew when he was leaving, when he was getting back, why he was gone, and that the lists would resume when he got back. I dunno about everyone else, but not having NGTL for a month wasn't the end of my NG world. I was glad to have them back, of course, but I didn't freak out or panic when you (or anyone else) didn't run the updates for him while he was gone. It was just... a winter break of sorts for all of us. :::nods:::
I was right, they weren't updated, which basically meant that he hadn't counted on me doing the updates while he was gone, and forgot to setup the files correctly. It had to do with how many days people were being tracked for. Usually he does the updates every 3.5 days, so the files are usually setup to track peoples rates using that amount of days, but the last update he did, he did a weekly, so basically everyone had a week, but I only tracked it for 3.5 days, thus the rates were twice the amount they were supposed to be.
Ahhh, so that's what happened.
I know when I don't post in my threads for a few days, they drop to the second, third, etc. pages.
Poor threads. ;_;

ARGH!!!! Why won't this damned ALR list calculate correctly? Fucking stubborn code. Oh well, no ALR list this week, but I'll get the other lists posted within the hour.
;_; I wasn't paying attention to this thread, obviously, but every time I went to your site to see/save the updates I follow... I'd notice the "ALR list: next Sunday" timestamp and think "hmm, that'll be interesting to check out"... and now it's been two weekends with teh expectation failures! Ah well. I'm sure you'll figure it out somehow.
My ALR current total should be... just about 245 or so. And seeing as how that's for four stattypes... I suppose the best thing to do would be to divide by 4... for an average of 61ish. (kinda like hitting an average of 61 each day of a 4-day/4-round golf tournament, too!)
61 in golf is pretty damned good. So there we go. #;-}>
Which way is it going to be on the ALR? Total of the four ranks? Or average of the four ranks?
The former's advantage = nice round numbers, no decimal places necessary
The latter's advantage = less insanely high numbers for many of the people on the list + more of a golf-type feel. :::nods:::

Just one comment: The number of stars I have is going to fuck your layout up, the way things are going... have you considered going to a 1-5-10-etc scheme like D0GMA has?
Two solutions to my problem:
Easy - You stop b/p'ing.
Hard - I make silver and gold spinning stars for 5x and 10x.
Obviously, you probably won't cooperate with my easy solution, so I'll have to work on the hard one sometime soon. Darn you and your blam/protecting tendencies!
Ha ha ha!
You know, he doesn't have to STOP b/ping, he can just start b/ping like a NORMAL user, instead of like fixit. #;-}>
That said, the I / V / X RomanNumeral-ish star system would be nifty, too.
