Nice updating of the lists RedCircle, the new (and improved =)) Regulars list looks alright, though I dont think if you planned on making these goofy elections of yours that you should have added so many people.
There are people on the C list that I simply dont feel should be there.

I know you probably don't really respect my opinion, but I have to agree with this. I don't think it was a decision for RC & co to make as to who was on the list to start with. You should have started the list with 2-3 people, and held nominations weekly until it reached 10-15, then monthly elections from there on in (and removals, if someone on the list hasn't regularly been on the Wi/HT board)

Well, I think the main reason so many were added so fast was to offset the balance between Mods, Wi/Ht and Regulars(Us). It isn't like we are starting an ASM to the SSM that is Wi/Ht(Hope you guys get the analogy), this is just for chuckles and giggles to see how each group is doing.

All-in-all, I have nothing against the current list or the nominees, nor any objection to this little election.

Bullshit, i ofcourse respect everyones opinion here, i cant speak for the others but im sure they are all cool guys who like to here new ideas and opinions. I thought that it was weird that osamarama didn't receive any sympathy from us. He's browsing this board sometimes and he is leading the ng quick draw competition. He's also very active, his pace for voting flashes under judgement is a bit slow for a whereis/howto regular tough.

They forgot many users that should be there like mazza, ramagi and marcus but they will fix that because they have the required stats/regular posting on this board to be on this list.

Too bad some very active users for stats just browse this forum without replying. Rowenuts, Ya Ya and Im_kool_r_us could become regulars but they just don't post here. I guess that they just come to see the updates.

Most of them are inactive on this forum but I guess that's why we made a list for regulars so we wouldn't just remove their membership without thinking about it or making a removal vote. The list of regulars should be updated every 2/3 months and anyone that stopped being one should be removed.

Although, in the members list, they were voted in so the logical way to remove them is with a vote and it could also require their consent.

I see what you mean, but the way our club works is that members will not lose their place in the club. The rules are pretty relaxed and there's no set minimums or rules for being in the club.

To answer your question Denvish about List B. That is a list of a club that the_phantom_spancker started a while back. It started as any other club. The first people to post in the lounge became the first members. Then they held "elections" and added more people in as time went on. It got to the point where spancker really stopped showing up on a regular basis, but everytime that he decided to show up, he would announce another election. Only when he "felt" like it. I think thats kinda bullshit. The leader and founder of a club taking months at a time off just so he can come back and add a new member that he could give a shit about?

What is totally ironic is that his initial "requirements" for being in the Wi/Ht MemberList Club is that the person had to at least post twice in a week in this forum or something. Ha, spancker hardly ever posts period, let alone in this forum, let alone in his thread.

Also, I heard from geefox that once you are in "List B" that you are in for life. There was a user named Drimarki who finally gave up on coming here because of his poor grades and his parents told him he could not come back. I heard he was a blam/save machine, but he hasn't had a single stat increase since he left.

I think that this list should be flexible in that it should only reflect those who come here everyday. This list wasn't "boosted up" by adding people who have high stats like everyone thinks. Yoink comes here quite often and helps out just as much as everyone else. He isn't a spammer, so you won't see him on every page, but he is DEFINITELY a Regular who deserves recognition.

Also, BVBG has been here longer than most. Go back a few hundred pages and you will see him all over the place. It wasn't an immediate choice, but he has definitely contributed to helping people out in this forum. So, he was added. If he doesn't respond to my e-mail, then he will be taken off. Simple as that. If he never reads this thread or even posts in here, then he will taken off. This list is designed to show who is a regular here. That's it.

This list is to applaud those who are regulars here, but don't get recognition from spanckers list, because he is not here. There are some very good people on the Regs List (List C). In the 5 steady months that I have come here (I think I have missed 3 or 4 days in those 5 months), I have noticed some people who come here day in and day out. Unfortunately to the people who are already on either Lists A or B, they haven't been mentioned yet. But they are very dedicated users. If they show us that they are regulars, then they too will be added.

Take Qwoxyl for example. He posts here everyday. He is an excellent candidate for the list. He shows us that he is here and helping out all the time. Those people are the ones I want on the list. Not "every other month" users, not "Only on Saturdays" users. Sure people can miss a few days, and thats fine by me. I just don't feel a person who shows up 8 times a year should be mentioned.

Anyway, I'm gonna check my mail right now, and see who has responded. Hopefully, everyone has, and if not, then they are in danger of being taken off. It's just they way it goes.

Indeed, i will agree with you there, but taking memberships away from people isnt what its about surely. They justified their membership probably before you were here, and just because you dont see them post doesnt mean they didnt deserve it at the time.
