Well, here's hoping, though I foster no regrets about getting myself retired back in the day. I didn't belong up there with the rest of the regs. I wasn't even depositing then!

Problem: I have been working a lot lately, so i havnt made as many frequent visits to all the threads in this forum as much as I should be, but I didnt even get an email in order to vote. : ( I feel saddened that I had no part in the voting process. Is there a reason why?

Alot of people are confused about votes etc...

Xiivi did RedCircle give the vote results? If so everyone who replyed to my e-mails than these were your votes. They were just a little while ago.

Ok, I was too confused about the low amount of people who voted in this election. Basically, it went like this:

RC is far too busy to handle the election this month.
Tom takes care of the voting process.
Tom creates the e-mail, and sends it to everyone SEPARATELY.
Tom recieves the results and forwards the exact e-mails he gets to RC.
RC forwards those exact e-mails to me.
I count up the votes and get the results in.

Here's who voted:
Xiivi, BonusStage, Tom_s00, -TRA-, BonusStage, Denvish, and carmelhadinosaur

That's it, that's all I got, RC said he sent me everyone, and Tom said he sent RC everyone. I am not sure of who all Tom actually sent the e-mails too, because he did them all separatly. So Tom, please list the e-mails, not the people, but their e-mail addresses, that you sent the nominees to. Note, this month is going to stay set in stone. There won't be a recount if we find that Tom messed up something, due to the fact we're just too far along this month and will be ready for a new election soon. RC said he's leaving this list's maintainence up to me for the following months, and if he ever wants to take control again he may as he wishes, but for now I'll be taking charge for this list. Trying to have someone get the votes, then sending them to another person, then another person is just too much of room for error. With one person maintaining it all it will be much easier and the next month's election will run hopefully a lot more smooth and on time.

I've been keeping track of the potentials this past month even though I may not actually post a lot, I still read most everything. I'll be really cracking down on who gets put on the nominees list due to Tom's just being far too long. Only people who really stand out and are helpful will be added. The potentials list will be sent to these following e-mails on the 20th:

Everyone will actually recieve 2 identical e-mails, one from backtonormal[@]gmail.com and one from xiivi[@]aim.com. Why 2? That way you'll have a good chance of seeing it. It will be titled: Wi/Ht Elections. If I don't have a response by the 30th, then you will recieve another 2 e-mails.

The results and update will be posted on the 1st, unless I post otherwise. :)

Well, hopefully that fixes whatever happened. Because I know for a fact I just didnt get it. At my work, I check my email every 10-15 mins and read everything that comes through. It was just never there.

This is, by god, the most organized and dedicated member system every concieved on this forum. I had become an active poster here many months ago, yet I lost interest once I starting lacking ideas to contribute.

There are a few special people I'm yearning to see bequeathed the wi/ht membership torch. :) Wimsty has been obviously dedicating alot of time here. Likewise, Zendra and DonDoli are both admirable and worthy users, to me.

Expect to see me helping out the bewildered newbies, and throwing congrats around the lounge for a while. I've been at this void between cchood, and wi/hthood; the essence of true adolescence in bbs form. =P

I think you speak for alot of people when you say that (apart from the baby stuff and the flash forum) this place is falling apart it's just not what it used to be anymore.
