The e-mail I will be sending everyone tomorrow will have a fully updated list that might be better, and definitely more accurate than the one I sent a few days ago. Hopefully you will see some who are deserving the Regulars status. That is partially why I send out the first e-mail of the month asking people if the potential's list is encompassing those who deserve to be added. It allows overlooked people.

Are you going by recent regularity, regularity in different areas of the bbs, or just by post count? If it was post count, that wouldn't be very hard, it'd be someone like earfetish or a mod.

This list isn't based on posting day and night. It is a record of people who help out a lot, have quality posts, and are good people. Sure, one can believe that you need to post a lot on the forums to be recognized, but always remember. Quality over quantity. Always.

I'd have to say ramagi, i've seen her every night. Her and quikfox, I always see that guy around...

I definitely see Ramagi here, and with excellent posts, and useful lists and information, but Quikfox? I hardly doubt that.

I'm glad. I feel like I'm finally getting somewhere in this listing. It's taken me a LOT of questions, test lists, and doubts just to get this far, but I believe that it's all smooth sailing now.

As i said in one of my earlier e-mails, this would take time and patience, but im finally glad everything is settled, it went through a transitional period were i wasnt to sure were it was going, but now its all fine and dandy.

I think that I am going to start up a "C" list only update every weekend. Just a short update to help the Regs track their numbers. I'll leave the full update (Mods, Members, and Regs) to the beginning of the month (Ramagi style).

I think that sounds good, after all the C-List is the one thats gonna be changing the most around here. Will you change the A/B lists when a new mod/member is brought in soon after it happens or will you wait till the update ?

It really depends on the results.

I was talking about in C&C and stuff. I've always seen him in fights there. If not every time. Just look at the alliance forums. The spam forum is dominated by people he's fighting with.

Well, I fully know how this thread could be a headache to figure out what it's actually trying to convey. The point has changed directions a lot and hopefully, this one post will summarize the whole thing for you (and possibly others).

#1. When I originally started this thread, the purpose was to figure out which group (Mods or Wi/Ht Members) was easier to be a part of. I made a list that compared the Mod's stats to the Wi/Ht Member's stats in every category (this was the first post). My reasoning for this was which ever group had lower stats was the easier of the two to belong (not necessarity true, but still fun to do).

#2. The next update I did was different from the first post's list. The second update basically broke down each member's stats in a chart, from both groups (list "A" and "B"), and totaled their scores. Then there was a list "C" which was similiar to the first post, and showed both groups head-to-head.

#3. The third list dropped the list "C" because it wasn't that accurate, but shortly after, I had a big idea.

I created a "Regulars List" that listed 11 people in the forum that a few people including myself thought were good users and pretty regular, but were not recognized in the Wi/HT Memberlist. I created a voting system that allowed the Regulars to dictate who would be added to the list (much like the Wi/HT Memberlist). The first time, we all elected three people to join. The second time, there was one inductee, BUT, I had previously decided that even Mods, and Wi/HT Members would be allowed into the Regulars List. D0GMA was inducted, but after lengthy discussions with a few people (Slightly_Crazy_Dude and ShittyKitty), I came to realize that the "Versus" aspect would be lost if anyone was allowed to join the Regulars List.

#4. The decision was made, and from then on, there was a rule that nobody from the Mods List, or Wi/HT Members List would be allowed to join the Regulars List. This made the Versus aspect much better.

#5. I had made another update, but realized that this list would be too similiar to the Mods or Wi/Ht Members Lists because of inactive members. The Mods never kick anyone out, even if they dissapear indefinitely. That was also the case for the Wi/Ht Members. SO...I came up with a similiar voting system for kicking out Regulars. If 3 or more Regulars decide that a user wasn't fit to remain on the Regulars List, then that person would be taken off the list.

So there you have it. This thread in a nutshell!

There is a monthly election that is updated on the first of each month. One person is inducted, and one person can possibly be taken off.

Hi guys, I'm doing my ... eh ... monthly visit (I wish I had more time ... but I don't :( ... ) and I read a little bit what has been said lately and I've seen that there is a "regulars" list now ... I think it might be a list of the regulars posters of the Wi/Ht? board ... or is it a list of the Wi/Ht? Members that are currently actives? I'd like to know, just to be informed of the last news ...

Oh and I also read about that "the members of the Wi/Ht? club are inactive" thing and well, yeah I guess some of us aren't very active these days but the main idea is that once you're in, you won't quit until you want to, no matter how active you are. That might be frustrating for those who are currently active on this board and want to join. The thing is all the members of this club has been very active once and truly deserved their membership. Also, don't worry about your, just keep on helping people around and be involved in NG in general and it shouldn't take too long until you get in ;)
