I use Adobe Animate/Flash!
The reason being is because when I started to animation, I animated Object Show characters and the best way to animate them is with a version of Flash that is above Flash 8. Soon, I started to animate human characters and one thing led to another. Also, Adobe Animate is quick and easy to work with and I can use other people's FLA files to learn how they animate. And I like the different tweening options which make rigging animation much more easier and appealing.
uuuh I'ld like to try rigging animation so much but toon boom confuses me ;_; maybe I'll give adobe animate a try!
Blender Grease Pencil mostly because it's the one my school taught me how to use but I do want to learn how to make flashes and plan on making a flash, even if it's just a snippet or test, by this year's end.
I use Flash CS6 + EDAP Tools.
I've used Flash for many years and am very comfortable with it. CS6 is the best Flash. Boosted by EDAP Tools, it lets me achieve anything I need - from frame-by-frame to complex rigged animation effectively and to a high professional standard.

I haven't animated anything in a hot minute but when I did? I was using Toon Boom Harmony (I needed it mainly for clean up animation gigs.) But when I couldn't afford the subscription nor pay for a license (after their recent change on going full subscription based) I ended up using the animation features on Clip Studio Paint EX, a program I already use for mainly drawing and was thankfully a one time purchase (only on a PC/Mac).
The animation timeline on it is no Toom Boom Harmony nor Flash. In fact it was the most annoying thing to figure out how to use and do the simplest things like copy/paste a previous drawing on a new empty frame to reuse. But after fiddling around with it for hours upon days, I figured it out and now its my go-to for animating and clean up (since it also allows me to use vector layers.) The best thing about it would have to be the fact I can use my usual brushes, being able to do roughs with my fave brush for sketching really made things more enjoyable. :>
Flash because, at the time, all the cool people were using it.
As a non animator, I use Flipnote 3D for the 3DS.
It has plenty fun tools and I love how borked the audio is when recorded, it's even cooler that you can export animations on them.
Aseprite! tried using Animate but that didint go quite well with my style lol
Wish aseprite had an option to add audio on the timeline lmao
I used to use flash/ animate until last year when I grew tired of the company's bullshit. Now I'm just trying new programs
Aseprite because I need sprites for my game.

Macromedia Flash 8
It has worked on an old crackling Pentium III computer running Windows-XP (while it was made for windows-2000), made my first flash movie here on that old trusty grey brick. And it still works just as well on a recent laptop running on Windows 11, (even on a spare laptop running Linux, just without pen pressure features) that's some propper compatibility for ya right there!
Exactly like that machine, with a big fat square grey monitor on top.
Its an old cracked version, so I just run and install it, simply copy paste a line of text to make it act as its registered (even if I have no internet connection at all) and there ya go, it's up and ready to go.
No whole suite of other stuff I have to download, no accounts I have to register to, and no bloody subscribtions.
It doesn't have the best tools for the highest production value animations out there, but I don't need that for a single person, with what I wanna make. And if I want to make things interactive, I can also do that. And it also serves me perfectly fine as a simple image editor. Or something to edit/make cute little GIFs with.
So as long as I can keep using it, I will never get rid of old Faithfull Flash-8.
Had to make sure I didn't already respond here.
Macromedia Flash 4 because it was in my house already, lol. Pretty dusty.
I use Krita to making animations, but I moved into Flash.

Macromedia Flash MX 2004, in honor of the Old Gods. Now, until the moment I die.
What do you like most about your programs?
Documentation that has existed since the early days of the internet, rather than obtuse wikis and ephemeral websites. I like to think that I can understand and use it to its full potential, but even now I am learning more things I can do with it.
BONUS: Look at this pixel art dinosaur.
Adobe flash. I use three diferents versions. I use Flash MX for storyboard and sketches, Flash 8 for thumbs and sometimes art and Flash CS6 for animation in general. The reason I use Flash because I don't need a subscription to use it and It's more simple to use. I used Flipaclip but I realized that Flipaclip is sucks and Flash is too much better so I moved to Flash. I feel more comfortable using Flash. And Flash is very good for my animation style.
I use flash mx 2004. It’s always worked fine for me and I can install it on any computer, high end or low end, and works fine. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it is my motto.
None

God...dammit that FUCKING timeline! You can't even merge layers in that damned program! WTF?!
I really don't know why I keep on it when Blender and Grease Pencil are right there... FFS I started as a 3d animator!

I use Krita, because its free, easy to use and to animate frame by frame, good for painting, has no limitations, and doesn't crash every 5 seconds, and also many more... Specially the fact that It doesn't have limitations for a free software

Flash because I used to make games and still code parts of videos sometimes. Maybe other applications allow this, never actually checked.
Paper and pencil for animating, and Tv Paint for clean up.
none i just make cartoons in my mind for personal enjoyment

blender because i'm lazy to download something else. It's the all in one of art programs. I like how easy blender is to use, it's relatively simple besides for the way markers work because they're easier to use in 2d mode but harder to use in 3d.
omg I totally forgot about aseprite!! thank you for bring it to me again
