Wow it's real! I thought it was a modern parody, but it's legit!
It's so perfect in every way, the tape chromatic aberration, the two frames animations, the mirrored characters, dramatic zooms on a fixed scene. The characters moving but not animated. There's even dirt on the cells! And the green screen for the mouths!
And the narrator that seems like he's going to fall asleep while saying his line.
Damn I wish I could live in a world where you can half-ass thing so thoroughly and still somehow get paid.
