dear readers

what animated shows, commercials or movies you have watched that the animation has really low quality, looks cheap, doesn't follow the 12 principles, looks stiff and dull and unrealistic. I mean like really terrible movement and looks really distracting to watch. give me the name of it and tell me how bad the animation quality it is that it needs to be scene to be believed.

animated show that i found is a cartoon from china based on "Wong Wei Hung" the animation looks really cheap and looks like it made in ms paint, here is the link to it

The recent Uzumami anime

First episode was great, then it took a nosedive in quality for the remaining four episodes.

It seemed like the budget was slashed after episode 1, so the animators had to make artistic sacrifices.

Probably those "animated" "films" made by Dingo Productions (or some similar name, I don't exactly remember what they're called). They made a bunch of cheap movies on a shoestring budget that heavily borrowed from other source material like The Land Before Time and Aladdin. I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to animation, and enjoy most of what I watch, regardless of its reception, so if I say these movies are bad, then that's saying something. The characters are crudely drawn; they don't move except by flapping their mouths up and down, some designs are literally copy-and-pasted from other animated works. The general presentation of these movies is just abysmal, both visually and audio-wise.

The only positive I can give these movies is that the iconic "Yee" meme spawned from one of them, but that's about it.

Do flipaclip animation memes count? I've seen some that are just kids recording themselves manually sliding frames to vaguely match some audio being played off screen. Honestly I did the same thing when I was kid so it's kinda charming to me.

If we're taking about animation made by adults I'd say all of those content farms made to distract toddlers. Not only do they suck as animation but they also tend to have very sexual and violent themes in them, which is pretty horrific when you remember the target audience. I'd personally consider any animation made to groom children to bad on principle alone but the animation also sucks so that adds to it's shittyness.

Objectively? Dingo Pictures' output. Nuff said. But IMO, a lot of Canadian cartoons made after the late 2000's and adult cartoons, particularly some of the absolute flops Fox and Comedy Central have tried to make happen, with those overly-rigged, stiff as a board styles are just so hard on my eyes. Fanboy and ChumChum another one I couldn't stand looking at as a kid and I don't know if puppetry counts as a form of animation(I personally do but that's beside the point) but Mr.Meaty was just straight up unpleasant and offensive to all 5 senses.

Oh man, Mr. Meaty was one of my biggest childhood traumas. Nickelodeon has always had weird shows, but that one right there is pure nightmare fuel. I can't imagine anybody thinking that a child or any person for that matter would enjoy watching that.

Actually this would be the work of dingo pictures

Any random newground's submission can apply, so I'll stick with professional productions and the only one's that come up are the already-well-trod meme'd ones.

Slav Jank Treasure Planet

The playblast looking CGI Christmas Special.

The dead-eyed traditionally animated Christmas Special.

The Nutshack.

12oz. Mouse

Prolly another shitty Christmas Special I forgot about...

I've never 'watched' any of these. I don't know why anyone would watch these for more than a few seconds and not be made fully aware what they're being delivered. But, I'm aware of them and I can't think of worse animation from a technical standpoint.

I think you haven't read the destruction of my post, I'm talking about worst animation quality you have ever watched , not worst animated shows or movies. Could you show an example of animation, that looks low quality and looks really gittery and not fluid. Worst animated shows and movies will be a different topic for another time

Never watched the first one so I can't judge from just looks alone, but Velma I can say has some "great" animation. It's not obvious at first, you really have to dredge through a pretty lackluster story, art direction and dialogue (very horrendous).

I won't recommend it to folks looking to study animation or be inspired by animation (without carefully dissecting the good bits).

Fairview (TV series)

The show is a combination of cheap animation and bad and unfunny jokes and writing. Just looking at it is painful to watch

I consider puppetry animation-adjacent, especially if it's stylized and has cartoony proportions and designs. Plus, they aired reruns of it on the Nicktoons channel way back in the day so I guess FWIW Nick considered it one.

They aired live action on Nicktoons top if I remember
