Comment: The very first exposure I got to Newgrounds was the Sonic Mania Tribute Collab by the Sonic Paradox team. Ever since then, I always associated Newgrounds with that Collab lol, but I love Newgrounds because it makes me able to share my passions with like-minded people and be accepted by said like-minded people which is very nice :)
Thank you so much! You have been added to the Guest Book! :D

Comment: I'm connected to the Internet in 2007, I discovered NG when I was 17 years old, now I'm doing some funny art, animations and voice acting, currently I'm voice acting in series called NuMates. My minus is anger issues. Normally I'm normal guy.

Today’s Future Problems: Online Exhibition - Celebrating 30 Years on Newgrounds
Held by: StitchMiss/StillNess @StitchMiss
Hosted: Here on Newgrounds (Check out the collection here)
Date: June, 11 – July, 9 2025
So What the Heck Is This?
“…the concept of this exhibition – how the greats of Newgrounds have gone on to inspire the next generation of artists, animators, musicians and game designers. In a similar way the greats of the classical eras went on to inspire and shape modern day art.”
Since April, I have been working hard behind-the-scenes, reimagining classic NG series as Classical Artworks. It’s been a long process, trying to pay homage to numerous art-styles and techniques, and I can only hope I have done each artwork and each series their due justice. Twenty-four favorite NG series and characters have been completed and will be posted one at a time from 11th June up until Newground’s 30th Anniversary on 6th July!
What Else Is There?
Alongside the collection – which can be found in its newly created folder on my profile – I will posting a full-blown catalogue! This will be a neat PDF booklet, available for purchase over on my Ko-Fi from 6th July at the end of the exhibition! It is free of charge, with the option to donate if you want!
And There’s More?! (Wanna be included in the Final Project?)
There IS! At the end of the catalogue, I want to include something called a Guest Book!
Museums sometimes have these books at the front desk, or as a part of the exhibition, where guests can leave comments on what they thought and leave feedback to the artist or museum!
Below is an example of what a page of the Guest Book will look like. To have yourself included in the final catalogue, fill in the following information and pop it in a comment below.
Username: Your username here on NG – Your avatar will also be included alongside your username!
Name: Your actual name or the name you go by online (optional)
Creator Type: Artist, Game Designer, Animator, Musician, Reviewer, Lurker, Something else?
Comment: A message to leave readers of the catalogue. Some ideas include: what you think about NG turning 30 years old; your favorite series on here; what made you join NG to begin with; what you like to draw or what you like about being an artist; go for it!
Try not to make it too long (like half a page) – so everyone can have their comments fit properly in the Guest book.
The cutoff date for comments will be 6 June 2025, so I have enough time to save all the details and have the catalogue ready to post!
And there we have it! I’ll still be posting usual art in between (may slow down a bit closer to the exhibition date to finalize everything, we shall see).
Cannot wait to celebrate this awesome website with you all! ^o^

Comment: During the start of my 8th grade year, I found Newgrounds. Despite me joining on a controversial date, (9/11/2024) I began to enjoy the community here. We could be free to create what ever we desired without censorship and strict rules. Newgrounds was and still is an escape from all of my problems in the real world and I can just make fun of my problems here. Without Newgrounds, I wouldn’t have the courage to stand out today. And it’s all thanks to this site and @TomFulp
Currently working on a cartoon this summer. Stay tuned I guess. Heh.

Comment: Although I first joined Newgrounds because of Geometry Dash, this site has become more to me than just a part of that game. I’ve made genuine friendships with people on here and I couldn’t ask for a better community than this one. May Newgrounds keep going for years and years to come! ^^

Comment: Honestly, I'd say Newgrounds has been one of the few places online where I feel a connection towards others. It has helped me feel more confident in posting online. I will continue holding this website near and dear to my heart.

Comment: Our world lives on the basis of continuous creation. One person can create something that connects with millions of beings, that inspires or torments them, that leads them down a dark or a bright path. The responsibility of the creator comes from what we decide to be, from the role we build ourselves into. You, who are reading this, who are you?
The answer can be anything because you decide who you are. You have the power to change reality, and you will create the new ground on which we will live.

Comment: Despite the join date (2021), I've been around for a long while. Discovered the site at the age of 4 through Sonic Paradox. I saw Newgrounds as "The Sonic Hub" for a long time. I rarely saw animated Sonic Content and games anywhere else. As the years went on I found out about Pico and Tankman, I had a strange phase at age 10, constantly quoting Tankman phrases. That didn't exactly help me socially, but I thought, "If people on the net liked me, then I don't have to worry about other kids." Looking back, that is a horrible mindset. It was a different time. Surprisingly enough, that did help me with self-confidence. Newgrounds gave me a feeling of being accepted despite not directly interacting with it. I don't get that feeling anywhere else. So Newgrounds is magical. A home away from home. When the going gets tough, I come back. Thanks, Tom Fulp.
Thank you so much! You have been added to the Guest Book! :D

Comment: NG was a big part of my life growing up. I didn’t use the website itself, but I watched a lot of YouTube videos featuring media that mainly came from NG, and I’m proud to be a supporter. It’s amazing to see a place actually built by the community and not some corporation. We only have each other to lean on, so let's keep NG going for the next generation of artists! Join a collab, make art, post that project you've been working on already!
Thank you so much! You have been added to the Guest Book! :D
A HUGE Thank you to everyone who joined! Your entries have been added to the brochure and will be available to view once the brochure goes live on my Ko-Fi at the end of the Exhibition on 6 July! :D
In the meantime, the collection will be available to view over on my profile, in its collection here and I will also post updates on this thread ^-^
Hope you all enjoy! Thank you again so much for all your support!
