Thank you for setting up this thread! I don't want to say anything before first addressing your own OC's, so:

Bug seems very sweet, that is *really* nice hair and I like how you drew her. She looks a bit segmented, which makes me think of a mannequin. Appreciate black eyes with white pupils and her feet are cool.

You say she's the owner of the Elytra Diner, was that a dream/desire of her to own a diner? And did she start it or just take over from someone else?

For my own characters: Slim (the skeleton), Jim (the cricket), Teri (the leaf) and Innittix (the punk gargoyle-looking one).

Slim & Jim are where it started for me with the characters and cartoon style on Newgrounds. They're both best bros, wanting to become famous rappers/musicians one day and fight with a staff that can split into two even-length sticks.

• Slim Reaper is more emotive and lives in-the-moment, being skilled mainly with the instruments. Plays trumpe and has a feeling for rhythms
• Jiminy Kick*ss tends to think more before saying, can look at the bigger picture. But once he has a grudge he is very slow to let go. He's the poet of the two, being skilled with lyrics and wordplay.
• Teri is just trying to find their way through life and being quite succesful at it, though they don't know what exactly they want to do yet. Reliable friend and generally good person. Teri initially took up training with a three-section staff purely for workout but recently they've had to use it in actual fights too.
• Innittix tends to be quite profane and short-fused with an intense hatred of those that oppress/push down on others. Thing is: She has no big goal in life, and that hatred & acting on it has been the only thing giving her direction for years. To the point she perceives playful power imbalances as a big crime already. Yet she also feels bad about how her anger & violent disposition reflect on her loved ones and their surroundings and feels a kind of guilt complex for it.

This is one of my oldest and most significant OC's, Estri de Linn-Quent van der Zotte.

She's a punk jester who loves to play the villain, although never aims to really harm anybody. Three key pillars of who she is, are:

• The chill punk
• The over-the-top theatrical villain
• The mysterious and somewhat elegant/dignified jester.

Although it's not a case of split personalities or anything: it's just three main ways in which she may present herself, sometimes mixing them.

The punk aspect helps give a criminal association. Often she tries to make herself the butt of the joke. If you ask her about her past, she will give a different story every time and it's never clear if she genuinely doesn't remember her past & believes every new tale she spins, or that she's pretending and just messing with us or trying to protect her real origins.

I thought your PFP was a character from Puyo Puyo or an in-universe mascot from Bomb Rush Cyberfunk or Jet Set Radio or something! Could fit well in there, i think.

I can imagine Axel (or a similar creature) enjoying sliding down the sides of dunes, hills and mountains while rolled up and bouncing around, enjoying the speed and the wind as he bing-boing-boings around the place and possibly knocks over flower pots.

Up until he can't control his trajectory and lands in a manhole.

Seems like a determined fellow.

Its been like a year since i drew any OC lol, but here are my main ones:

It has gone through many phases of redesign (which are not uploaded to my account as the drawings are quite old). It's based on one of the NPC from Gta San Andreas, the SWAT one.

Basically it was the skin I always used in SAMP (San andreas multiplayer). Since I was a kid I have always liked those characters whose appearance is mysterious, or you can't really see their faces, and they act really cool. an example of this "vibe" would be "The Stig" from TopGear.

This is Nikolas Antonov, Lora Haneda and Jacob Redding, AKA The Cryomaniac, Nudge and The Deform.

They are troubled superhumans just trying to get by while being targeted by a misanthropic mutant mafia known as the High Society of Superhumans.

Nikolas, or Nick, is a bipolar cryokinetic with a mutation that makes him constantly cold—and unable to get used to it. He struggles with his violent tendencies and impulses, but desperately wants to change for the sake of his friends…the circumstances he ends up in make this noticeably difficult.

Lora is a semi-pacifist telekinetic with paraplegia who wants nothing more than to be with her family with her innocence in tact. In light of recent events, she’ll settle for being with her family.

She also tries her hardest to keep her friends’ humanity in check, which shockingly sorta works despite their personalities.

Jacob is a marine veteran with polymorphism who got his powers from an experimental surgery after a classified military operation. Considering himself the most normal member of the team, he works at an auto shop, goes to church and does whatever he can to stay out of trouble…until it means getting his younger friends out of it.

Oh, and this is Mossface. We’re, uh…not really sure what Mossface is or where it came from. But it follows the team around and acts as their pet or mascot or something.
