I've been kinda fascinated by some of David Bowies later stuff lately
This be the current vibe right now
I'm always listening to this song when I'm looking through classic funk music and old demoscene tracks to steal sounds and melodies from.
That's right, I steal shit, because I don't believe in copyright laws. Does this make me an inferior artist? NO.
Everyone else is just too scared to do a little thieving, which makes me superior to them. I'm pretty sure all music that can be made has already been made at this point anyway, so have fun spending hours to compose your own "original"
track that has already been done a million times before.

Just ended listening to this.
Still bored with video games. So I decided to do a Big Shiny Tunes (Much Music) marathon.
Haven't actually heard the original BST, until now. (Though I did hear most of the songs before.)
Currently over halfway through BST2.

You might not believe in them, but copyright laws are still laws… and actually, despite the vast amount of music out there, I’m still continually surprised by how unique some artists can still manage to be. Especially with indietronica artists— I don’t think anyone has ever managed to sound quite like some of them. Although mainstream pop is definitely getting to the point where it’s all been done, and I think people might be getting bored of it.

This one. Part starting from around 2:04 is my favorite.
Right now, I'm listening to Last year's Kraftwerk's 9 show residency in LA, show 6. The audio quality isn't terrible, but I can only imagine how amazing it would be to see them in person.
Listening to a song I remember from a YouTube video I watched back in like 2008/9. Unearthed itself in my memory in 2023. Remembered it sounding distinctly like chiptune which started an on-and-off hunt for it. Just found it again. I am so happy - no pun intended.
