Hey, I'm a musician & I'm willing to provide music for character selection, I can make music whether it's video game or fighting, so it will be easy to compose the song!
Just tell me what you would like the style of the song to be, I specialize more in breakbeat, electronic & chiptune (breakbeat I see it as a good option for collaboration as it sounds a lot like a fight!), I also need to know if the file has to be in MP3 or WAV.
I'm waiting for answers in DM or right here :D


I usually prefer existing tunes for this sort of thing. Avoids the potential awkward situation of me not liking what you end up with!


But, by all means, go for it (if you're alright with me just using The True Version Of Everything 2 anyway (it's pretty friggin' perfect!))

It's okay if you like the final result or not, because it might help me improve at other times when I want to compose something.

Still, feel free to choose any of my existing songs, as they are royalty-free and you can use them whenever you want (obviously as long as you leave credit)

If you have time to listen to any of my recent songs, it would be amazing to see which one you like to use in the project, if you don't like them, you can use the one you mention! (I can also edit the song a bit if you want)

This seems like it could be fun!

Would my character Stripes be a good fit for this collab? He attacks by seamlessly using the stripes he peels off of his skin as whips or lassos.



One detail about him is that his face (specifically, his eyes) changes shape depending on who's looking at him, so I'm imagining a thing where he copies the face of the last character highlighted by the user. But that might be too much of a hassle to program, so I'd be okay doing one portrait like everyone else instead

If they're good enough to be included, I can draw whatever kinda refs/art/etc that's needed! Here's my fighter! Hope this is good enough and the resolution is correct. Here's the details:


Name: Shanty

Species: Toonman

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Nationality: Irish

Likes: Going on walks, ice cream and the beach.

Dislikes: Mutant vegetables, burning houses and leprechauns.

Fighting style: At first seems shy, throwing a few quick jabs and kicks, but with some successful attacks one by one, he becomes more determined and angry, performing aerial attacks and headbutting his opponents.

Signature/finishing move: Finger of Doom - points at his opponent, motioning a finger gun bang, resulting in the opponent exploding away.

Blurb: Shanty is a 20 year old toonman, who is a survivor of the wild, apocalyptic fields of Emerald Isle, (or cartoon Ireland). He lives out in a field, hand built with planks and nails, sometimes stolen from hardware stores. He’s a mascot in a way, an all rounder, ranging from all kinds of emotions, calm, happy, confused, angry etc. He plans vegetable heists to steal crops, is short on money and lives with a masochistic crash test dummy who is his roommate.
