Announcement:
I plan to make a collab around January, so I've shortened the deadline to December 25 (or simply Christmas). That way, everyone will have 4 months to make their artwork. I'll still publish the collab on April Fool's Day.

What's the collab for January? Is it a secret until then?

People are getting really sick of your shit. Sooner or later they won't stand seeing your name written anywhere. I'm warning you and I'm warning you out of pity.

Dude, this time I've learned from my mistakes and I'm trying to improve, but thanks for the warning.
Guys. I think I'm trapped in some kind of curse. I know there's no curse, but there's something wrong with me. Every time I try to do a collab, it either doesn't get many people or has a negative visibility. And when I see other collabs being successful, I feel sad.

I asked about the collaboration for January because I assumed the same thing would happen. I think the reason you don't get many people joining is because everyone sees a pattern. You start several at one time and the outcome isn't the quality level a lot of people are looking for. That, and there are a lot of collabs happening atm. Not being scouted might contribute to the lack of activity, too. You don't have to stop, but maybe take a break from creating group projects. It's not worth stressing yourself out over if it's making you sad.
I completely agree with AldilusRex and I would like to add that patience is the key to achieve things. Don't get frustrated if your collabs take time to get people interested, everything takes time. You are young and have so much time to learn, improve and grow both as artist, musician and person. Collabs require experience and to start one I think it's first important to know yourself and see your strong and weak points. I, for example, know myself enough to say that I don't fit as collab organizer because of irl stuff that keeps me busy and the fact that I tend to get too mentally drained since I would take them even more seriously than I take them when I simply participate.
I've noticed that you tend to start many collabs and then drop some of them. My suggestion is to start with a single, two collabs in a year at best to get used to the rhythm collabs give and then, once you gained enough experience you may start a third one in the same year but I stick to one/two collabs. Remember that what really matters is not fame but improving, leveling up as person and possibly making this site a healthy place for creativity. This site is a great opportunity to grow on many levels (pun not intended, LOL), so don't waste energies in impatience and willingness to get traction from as many people as you can. Otherwise people will start to lose interest in your collabs. I believe you can do some really cool and interesting stuff, don't let this "curse" let you down.
I decided to participate in your collab because I like the idea of working on a cat design that isn't the usual cute, Bambi effect vibe cats, especially kittens, give. But like all collabs I participated, I don't like to make half-assed works because I take each of them very seriously and I want to explore myself as artist and person.

I present to you...
THE UGLY CAT COLLAB
Made in Macromedia Flash 8. Colored in Paint.
If you don't know, the ugly cat collab is a collab where people have to draw an ugly cat. Unlike the original collab, where people drew cute cats, in this collab, you will draw ugly, hideous and scary cats.
Specifications:
Proportion: 1920 x 1080.
Formats: JPEG, PNG or GIF.
Drawings without color are allowed.
RULES:
The deadline is March 25.
The collab will be posted on April 1st. Why? Because yes.
Maybe you'll say, “You don't have the right to do that”. In my defense, I sent a message to the organizer of the original collab before making this collab. Fortunately, he allowed it, so I can continue my collab.
Hope you're well, see you :3
I will respect the rules of this collab! So 1920 x 1080? Oof, that'll be hard for me, but I like the idea of a parody collab. As I already had the idea of painting a cat, but now this is funnier.
Hey guys, One question.
What format should the collab be released in? Movie or game format?
This appears to be the second major collab of yours to actually gain traction (and go on the Calendar). and you've stated that it is NOT a low quality collab. However, out of the 5 entries I've seen, 3 are low quality, and 2 are ok.
If you have to claim it's going to be a high quality collab, it probably isn't.
To keep it short, you're not a good artist, you're not a good collab host, you suck at planning, and you likely don't understand what makes a good collab... well, good.
You released 1 collab, but ALL the scenes were crap. The other collabs were poorly planned out (first impressions matter)
In terms of your own solo output, all your Movies, Art, and Music frequently dip below 3 stars.
Given your track record, your pool of collaborators would be very limited. Either they're small beginner artists only slightly better than you, they're viewing it as an afterthought, or they take pity on you.
it's never too late to give yourself proper experience as a solo artist or a collab host. The journey may be slow, and there may be a few roadblocks, but it's possible. Try to give yourself 1-2 years of practice before attempting another collab.
Even though I'm a very frequent critic, I'm actually going to submit something for once.

Thanks for the submission and when I said it was going to be high quality, I meant a movie with a high quality.

And about my last collab, My intention wasn't to have good scenes, I was just doing it for fun. But of course next time I'll have to be stricter about some things. As annoying as you are, there are some things that were really useful to me, thank you.
