Seriously, these little lined paper guys are looking really good. As is the Night and Night, really solid poses, personality and motion.
I think you should apply some noise/grain to your other digital art as well — especially your comic. Adding a texture to digital art - especially with a more simple coloring - can really add some life to the piece.
Particularly in the backgrounds, if you add noise, or some sort other of texture to an area like the trees behind the big house tree, it can push the the focal point forward more and create visual interest/drama.
You have the tools, and the knowledge of how to use them, applying them in more situations can lead you to some interesting outcomes.

I'd use the noise filter more often if it didn't drastically up the size the image takes up, that Werehog one took 10mb of storage, I know it isn't a lot but without it, it would take up 1mb at most
