Hi hi! I got some really exciting news. During the summer I applied for some open calls for some Magazines looking for art, and I got a email back in September from an indie press called Quarter press for their W3IRD edition, Vol 2.
It feels so fucking surreal to actually see my art get published in a fucking a magazine. I honestly haven’t been feeling too great mentally due to family stuff and college, but seeing this made my day so much better. Huh…. I guess I’m a published artist now, feels kinda weird. Anyways the piece that got published was my pixel art fanart I did of Giygas from Earthbound. Kinda funny to see my pixel art get published especially from a kinda old piece lol.

Mouthwashing fanart. Oh I love that game so much it’s so good!!! Just started on the rough sketch tonight. And for those wonder what’s the weird looking horse or creature to the side, trust me it make sense in the game lol.
Small update on Curly. I printed him out and put him on my lil horror collage that I made for an assignment. Put some paper towel’s on some of his bandages so that he can pop out a bit more.
Also I drew up Anya cause I wanted to include her as well on the collage. but i unfortunately ran out of time. But now I’m just gonna make her into a small piece and finish her up in my own free time.
Oh I don’t know if I can finish this up in time for Halloween now. Oops. Um next best scenario is to finish it up on my birthday. Also yes, I have no idea what the fuck happened to the background. Lets be utterly confused together

Also My art just got recently published in BLANK digital magazine for their November/014 issue. They are a magazine that focuses on local artists in my surrounding area. Here is the link to the full thing online.
Oh yeah forgot to mention it, but I have to make an 1 minute long animated film for my 2D design class final. Everything has to be traditionally drawn, or we use paper cut outs and make our own dolls. I’m just using good ol pencil and paper. But anyways here’s the first few seconds of the intro, she’s basically the weird ass scary sun in this universe. She’s only there for a few seconds, till you guys get to see the real protagonist.
Sorry for the shitty quality been ages since I’ve animated on paper, and I have very little time to do everything so my stuff is gonna be pretty rough unfortunately. But on the bright side hopefully everything works out, cause then maybe I can upload this to the animation portal.
Regardless though this project is a lot of fun, and it really makes me want to animate now.
Ok wow. Just posted the animation I had to made for class yesterday, and I’m honestly surprised it didn’t get Blammed. I already made a long essay in the comment of that video, talking about why it turned out the way it did. Basically it has really questionable quality lol. But regardless, my professors and classmate suggested I post it here since everybody liked it for some reason. I remembered one of my professors said it had a very surreal kind of vibe, and a friend of mine said it reminded him of a 1930’s horror film.
But anyways I’ll post some frames that didn’t make the cut and also talk about some of my favorite frames in this weird ass project.
Starting off with this.
This was kinda meant to be a weird title screen before everything started. Fun fact in the YouTube version, yes I uploaded it to YT because that was how I turned in this project, has this, then it awkwardly transitions to the real start of the animation,
I do like this Frame even if it’s kinda questionable in quality. Maybe I’ll redraw it digitally one of these days.
This was a cut frame meant for a way later part of the story that I ran out of time to animate. Dead body dude is basically praying. This looks ok, wished I had more time to include this frame.

Also a very random connection but this is the same flower guy from my zine piece.
I don’t know why I choose them to be the same uh thing…. Flower. But that’s a lil interesting connection for you guys

I’m starting to notice a pattern with this animation. I’ve just been reusing guys from my previous artworks. Which is kinda funny lol. Ok I know this shot is uh…. Kinda questionable, but that’s the dead body with no head.

thank you!!! I’m glad you like it so far. I’ll talk more about their design when I’m actually finish with this piece. But anyways I’m trying to capture the weirdness that is often associated with the word, “Eldritch” and the mundane definition of “Saxes” or “Saxophone”. Almost like a personification of my username in a way
Ending 2024 on a good note!! Got published one last time this year from a digital magazine/blog that focuses on horror and sc-fi art and writing. Funnily enough I got rejected from them last year, so it’s nice to see my stuff improved enough to get accepted. Here’s the link to it Grim&Gilded
Drew up a simple kraken design, giant octopus in this case, for the upcoming 2025 fishing collab
I forgot how hard it is for me draw with my normal style in such a small image size, well of course outside of pixel art. Wished I could have done More, but at the moment I’m focused on finishing up my commissions before the spring semester starts
2025 has just started, and so has the spring semester, and I now started off the year and semester with my work getting published again. This time by an online publication called The Word’s Faire I am surprised they choose this piece given that I think it’s pretty boring compared to my other work made in 2024.
But regardless another thing to add to my CV. My apologies if I just seem like I’m not making art, i know that these kind of posts can get pretty annoying pretty quickly. There will be more art and music in the near future, I know I sound like a broken record but I’m very fortunate to be able to have a good amount of paid work I have to do now. So that has been my main priority nowadays
Finished up a commission! Got paid to draw the regenerators from OG resident evil 4. Was a pretty fun one to draw
Made this piece for an upcoming art gallery I’m going to be a part of in my area. The theme was the moon, so I just drew space shit. I don’t know I had a plan originally but I think my lesbian brain just wanted to draw a weird ass star women. Gays be dammed lol.
I don’t really like this piece actually, I felt very rushed since I had to prioritize my college projects and exams. I wished I spent more time on this but atlas it will do for now.
If all goes well I’ll look back on this piece as a stepping stone of sorts for actually putting in effort for my art to get seen. That being said I already printed and framed her already.
Feels weird to see my art actually printed out in a poster format. Not sure what I’ll do with it once the gallery is over in May. I’ll probably just have it hang up in my wall in my room.
Also one last thing before I go. The markings on the Women’s body is actually based on planet and other solar system symbols. They looked cool and I wanted to bring in space vibes.
Also I need to really get back to making actual colored pieces haha. Sorry for the constant black and white art

Someone please help me revive my clubs
Heres one of my projects from my graphic design class. We had to make 8 postcards based on a theme, I went with fish, and each of them had to be a different style. This one is my favorite and it’s my professor’s favorites too out of my cards. I’m not really into graphic design but it’s a required course before the can take my 2D and 3D animation class, so I’m just trying to make it as fun as I can for myself. That being said I probably won’t make this into a full post here.
Finished up the hermit card for the tarot card collab. I actually think I did a decent job with this one. Also my followers on Bluesky have been calling this strange creature Clarice, so you know what I’m gonna run with that.
Today was the gallery event. Sorry for the really awful photos, my family wanted to rush everything so I was only there for 10 mins. Regardless of the little time spent at the event it was nice to see my art be up there. Hopefully I’ll be apart of more galley exhibitions in the future. :)
This was for one of my college projects, we had to make an animal illustration in adobe illustrator. We can choose to do it in a photorealistic style or a surreal one. Also here’s the lovely reference pic of the goblin shark I based my art off of.
Critique on this piece during class went very well! I got an A on this project which I’m pretty happy about. I’m trying really hard to make these graphic design courses fun for myself by trying to still push out my weird art here and there. Even if I don’t like adobe illustrator and I find it to be very restrictive in the art factor.

Yeah, I’ve tried Illustrator before and it took a bit to get used to. I think I’d rather stick with my usual program for vector art.

Long time no art lol. Welp I played inscryption for the first time, and I beat the main story about a few weeks ago. Went into it blind, and fuck it was really good, but now I’m slightly addicted to just playing Kaycee’s mod haha. Anyways I wanted to make some fanart of Leshy since he’s one of my favorite characters in the game. I’ve always imagined him to be the tallest Scrybe in the game, he’s a tall lanky forest guy to me (but he is legit really fucking big in the game). Right now this is just a rough wip so far, just trying to get a feel for the environments and what not before I make adjustments so that this piece at least makes logical sense.
That being said, summer is coming up and with that free time I’m planning to learn how to draw environments and environmental art better. It’ll help my pieces stand out and look better, plus it’s a valuable skill to learn in order to get more freelancing work for myself. Plus I gotta squeeze in more practice for poses and anatomy again, unfortunately the majority of my course work in my major is graphic design related stuff so I haven’t really gotten any good teaching related to the art foundations which kinda sucks. But atlas the internet is there, and refreshing my knowledge over the summer will be great when i eventually take my 2D and 3D animation classes.
