Bit of a peculiar place to ask for art advice, but I typically would advise to only use straight lines and shape tools when the situation calls for it. I myself only find myself using straight lines when drawing spikes and tools. It won't look pretty but training yourself to make the arms look good over time without a tool is worth it.

A bit sad but some OCs will get spotlight from few artists at once while others won't be acknowledge even by one, tho I guess this is just what it is. As you said, no one is obligated to draw anything, so it's up to individual to pick which ones they want to draw. I also think that there is that feeling at the back of ones head, not to 'spam' too many OCs, because that would get annoying fast and be a bit problematic. That said I think that giving few 'tries to get attention for different characters' shouldn't be a problem if someone just keeps moderate pace, like about ~2-3 weeks between 'requests' or something.

Well the last part is where I have my problem. Not because I disagree with it, I'm just unable to do much regarding the fact that, I can't draw stuff in satisfying way, so obviously I can't draw stuff for others. Always feels bad, being surrounded with artists that can make their made-up stuff into visual work in pretty short amount of time, but like with every skill, combination of natural talent and practice is at play here, so obviously for every skilled person in that regard, there must be few that lack any meaningful skill in it.
