Any tips on how to render like that. the only kind of shading i do is with a hard brush and i want to branch out
Certainly. I use Clip Studio Paint and, for this particular image, the brush I use for shading is the "Gouache" which is found under the "Oil Paint" section of Brushes. I usually use "Opaque Watercolor" under "watercolors" to achieve a similar result that is smoother without the canvas texture. I recommend the later to start off with as it is easy to use the Blur tool to smooth things out. I find both brushes are good for blending and pushing colors.
