Omg, this! It's a drawing of two of my characters I finished and posted to IG yesterday.
Context is that the woman (the pink character, her name is Nina) is friends with the green male character (Mangkhut). Just doing friend things.
Workin' on a demake scene of Paper Mario TTYD. I'm trying to fit the Doopliss Fight on a Gameboy Colour screen.
Mario's just there for scale, I didn't draw him yet lol

Today's Improvements so far!
We're using a real GBC pallette (guess the game it's from and you win!) and the HUD looks wayyyy better. We're also slowly refining the BG into a workable space and messing with the lighing to maximize the limited GBC display.
The Toads at the bottom are your audience! 1 Toad represents 10 Toads, so we added a number menu too for when the Toad Counter goes higher than we can display visually. If you look closely, you'll even see the stage supports in front of the Toads!
Next is refining the characters, then making it as authentic as possible before calling it done!
What do you guys think? I'm very happy with this lil project so far! :3
